Attached is a link to the approved concept for Disneyland Paris. Is this a sign that the ride for Hollywood is on its way?

Maybe.

It is 99% approved for DLP and DCA they will be built at the same time and I'd say from what I am being told 50% to less than 50 it will go to DHS.

So if things are built in Californai and France...then that means they'll build them in Florida?

as Dr. Evil would say "...Rrriiiigggghhht":rolleyes1

That's why I said maybe it would be the logical thing to do but TDO is not logical they are cheap.

DHS needs a people eating dark ride badly but if you ask me WDW is not going to get this.

Morning, Fig

I agree with you on all points...which isn't starting my day very well. Cheapskatery will reign

Yup Pixar Studios while I'm not a huge fan could add so much to DHS.

1. Retheme playground to a bugs playground lol you don't even have to change much.
2. MI coaster
3. Rat ride and eatery
4. Backlot either RSR or a KUKA Incredibles

There do this DHS is good for at least 10-15 years.

Those people on Coaster Force sure whine a lot....

I think it looks like a decent attraction.

Hopefully Crush's coaster comes over in some way or another....that was a blast to ride.

I'd love to see some new rides in DHS (wouldn't everyone!) - its getting to be a half day park for me...which is something I thought I would never say...

Unless I'm missing something, this "concept" only covers the general building size/shape and the public-facing facade. I was hoping for a little more of a layout or blueprint, or any other sort of detail.

Still, Ratatouille actually provides some decent material for a dark ride, ranging from a ride down a rapidly-flowing sewer to a rat's eye view of a gourmet restaurant kitchen. And an attached French restaurant would be only natural.

As with everyone else, I agree that expanding "Pixar Place" at DHS is an excellent idea.

iv not seen any mention that its coming to DCA even though the DLP version has been discussed thoroughly around 2 years now. Do u have any links to stories about the DCA version?

Not on this one sorry I know a few people that work in Glendale when I get something I can post that won't get me fired I will post it.

I miss typed earlier I would say this is the percentages of it happening.

DLP 100%
DCA 85-90 depends on how Carsland draws.
DHS 40-50% but minus the restaurant.

I would be surprised if Disney built any attraction based on this movie. The box office results were not the best. You hardly see the characters in any of the parks.

i'd be surprised if anything extra came to DCA in the next 2-3 years after the current confirmed projects. They need to draw a line under all the current investment at some point to see how much its paid off before they make any more investments.

Well, I'd have thought that was the case anyway. :confused3

Agreed but it could be part of phase two which also includes the returning if Condor Flats.

I don't mean to act a little pompus, but I'd much rather have a MI coaster than a Ratatoiulle (sorry if i butchered the spelling) dark ride. I just find DHS to be a more thrill oriented park, and another coaster I think would fit well here.

It's ok I don't see how your opinion is pompus at all.

I wish they would do both plus a kiddie ride - I'm thinking Dumbo but with cars from Cars
