DD tried it on the Wonder back in August. It's in the Lab and you just bring your kid by at whatever time it starts, the Navigator will tell you. For our sailing, at least, they paired the kids up to work. DD was almost 7 (although she loves helping out in the kitchen) and is small for her age and a little shy; she had difficulty with her partner and ended up in tears asking the CMs to page me so I could pick her up. They did try to find out what was wrong but she simply didn't want to continue because her partner had pretty much bullied her out of the way and she's not the type to push back. It was *extremely* loud...the CMs definitely encouraged the kids to do a lot of cheering. They were making cookies and DD said everyone was sticking their fingers in the ingredients, eating chips and dough, etc. Everyone looked like they were having a great time, though, so if crowds, loud noises, and a few germs don't bother your kid(s), it's probably a great activity to do!
