The morning of Apr 17 shortly after sunrise the space shuttle Discovery, atop the 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft will make a pass over the beaches between the Kennedy Space Center and Patrick Air Force base, reverse course and head north to Washington DC to deliver the orbiter to the Smithsonian.

Additionally, the SCA with Discovery atop will make some flybys over the national mall. Should make for some good photo-ops.
