Rare MNSSHP Characters 2005

Usually MNSSHP is notorious for having rare characters out. I haven't heard too much about this yet this year.

So, what characters have you seen that are hard to find at this year's MNSSHP's??

Tarzan and Jane are out and so is Abu (he's out with Genie and they rotate with Aladdin and Jasmine). All of these characters were in Adventureland.

We got our picture with the seven Dwarfs. But they were there last year. Ummmm I saw Genie with Abu <sp?> he was the same height as Genie. I sadly didn't get a picture of that We did see Gonzo but come to find out it was someone in costume. Umm Oh we got our picture with the Little Eistens . . . that's about all I can remember . . . we saw alot of the same Characters that was there the year before.

We saw Brer Rabbit by Splash Mountain. Never saw the Genie and Abu.

We saw the Walrus from Alice and Wonderland on the Trick or Treat trail. DH is so bitter he missed Abu, we never did the Adventureland trail.

We saw Stromboli at the party on 10/6.

Abu is rare.

We were at the 10/2 party & the handler for Abu (who was appearing alone at the time, no Genie) told us that it was Abu's very first appearance ever & that he hadn't been out for the 9/30 party. I think this was around 7:30.

Ironically, I posted about ABU last spring. We were watching an old Bob Sagett (sp?) episode rerun of Funniest Home Video's. There was a family that was in a Disney park and they were getting their photo's and autographs w/ Abu. I don't remember what happened now, but I remember coming here to see if anyone had ever seen him. It was concluded at that time the video may of been from Disney in Paris since he's a regular there.

We saw Abu on 10/20- but he was much shorter than Genie, whom he was with. Someone told us he was in from Hong Kong and was headed back there(?) Also saw Gepetto with his "ds" lol- had never seen him before. The Red Queen, Hatter, and Rabbit were on the Alice trail along with the Walrus.

Last year I got a pic with Sora from Kingdom Hearts at the Trick or Treat stop in Tomorrowland in the entrance to the Robin Williams film. If it weren't for my kids' video gaming I wouldn't have recognized the character -- most people didn't.
