Rare Characters You've met!

We've met:

Launch Pad (Animal Kingdom)
Terk (Animal Kingdom)
Jimminy Cricket (Animal Kingdom - at the Conservation Station)
Stanley (Animal Kingdom) - but the show was still on the air back then, so perhaps he was not rare at the time
Bolt (Hollywood Studios)
Abby Mallard (Hollywood Studios)
Gepetto (Magic Kingdom)
Clarabelle (Magic Kingdom)

We also saw the bears from Brother Bear in Animal Kingdom years ago, but it was when that movie was fairly recently released, so I don't think they were rare.

We also try to make a point of seeing Devine each time we visit the Animal Kingdom, but she's technically neither rare nor a "Disney" character, but it sure is fun to find her

It is always fun to see someone unexpected! I remember following Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum around when I was a kid - would be fun to see them in the parks again, but I don't think little ones today would have any clue who they are or have any interest in them. A few years back we also saw Mary Poppins taking a spin on the Carousel in the Magic Kingdom and thought that was great!

We got to meet Rabbit (instead of Piglet) at Crystal Palace last year. First time that had happened for us.

This is the one on my bucket list!

We met Meeko back in 2009(ish) during a random character meet in Toon Town at Magic Kingdom. It was our first day of our first visit and it was so much fun to stumble on a group of characters with no crowd!

He was out regularly during Halloween Time at DL (in CA) when we were there a couple years ago. Just hanging out in Fantasyland.

For me, the Rarest, I guess, was Bernard & Miss Bianca (1979/80 - DL), King John, Oswald (2016- CA), Max, Pinocchio, and the Yellow Ranger.

I so wish they'd bring Oswald to WDW. HS seems like a good place for him. Loved meeting him at CA last year. I'm not all that into character meets since we are a party of 2 with no kids, but really enjoyed the interaction with Oswald and love the history of the character.

Out of 45+ years of visiting the parks, I got to see Thumper on my last visit to WDW. I'd never seen him before.

Where oh where did you meet Thumper? He was always my favorite as a little girl. I remember buying a stuffed Thumper as my souvenir at the Contemporary when I was 9. I would get really excited for my daughter to have a chance to meet him...okay, maybe for me too! Lol!

I love reading these!! The only 'rare' (only because you can't meet them any longer) characters that we've met are Marie and Moana. So many of these are just so unbelievable! I hope someday we'll have a lucky day and happen upon one or two of the characters mentioned here! Amazing!!
