Was just reading that someone else hadn't managed to see Rapunzel, she's the one character that would just make the trip amazing for my youngest. Is there a certain time/day we're more likely to see her? Or does anyone know if there's a certain day she appears at the Aberge?

I think she is very, very rare at Auberge, if at all these days.

I've been on 5 trips since the film came out and have never seen her. I often ask in City Hall whether she will be out on a certain day but they normally just say to take our chances and try the princess pavilion.

Also what about Toy Story characters? We saw Jessie in the round up bit the last time we were there but I'm guessing now that the ToyStory bit is open they're more common? Are we likely so see Woody and Buzz together?

not impossible, but not likely. Buzz has his own queued meet n greet spot in the Studios, and Woody and Jessie (and lots of other characters from the Stars n Cars parade) come out for meet n greets in the Studios every day.

Thanks Elaine. That's disappointing, i thought with having Toy Story land there would be more meet and greets with them both but never mind, they sound like theyre quite easy to get hold of so thats good, she'll be over the moon with that.

We met Rapunzel in October at the Princess Pavilion. We saw her walking by IASW heading in and jumped in the queue (although, DS has an access pass, so the queue wasn't long)...we don't often visit the princess Pavilion...so I don't know if she's often there, but she was the only princess he'd yet to meet at that time so we 'had' to.
I hope you get lucky as well!

And we've always met up with Woody and Jessie (and a ton others) from 11- 1 over by Stitch Live in the Studios.

Great thank you, will have to keep an eye out. We've never got any of the princesses in Paris but my youngest is Rapunzel daft so going to make an effort this time

Oooh just realisedfrom your ticker that you will be there the same time as us for some of the trip... if you're doing Auberge let me know if you're going 30th or later so I can get in on some of your luck

Haha! It wasn't such great luck in October as we saw Rapunzel as we went in - then she disappeared. The waiter told us she would be along any minute - we ended up meeting the others (Sleeping Beauty & Prince, Cinderella and Suzy and Perla) and finishing our meal - the waiter said "Any minute now!" Another 45 minutes of literally just sat at our table and the character handler came out and told us she had been taken ill 2 hours earlier!! She took our autograph books backstage and got Rapunzel to autograph them for us and told us she would be in the parade anyway - The funny thing is that the walking characters were rained off that day so she wasn't even there then! Typical!!
We're not sure if we're going to do Auberge - Me and my sister have booked it for 30th, but we only have a couple of princesses to meet so we'll see how we do at the pavillion before making our final decision. My sister is convinced she'll meet Belle's prince there eventually, but I'm not so sure!!!

Edit: The days we've done Auberge have all been Thursdays... so you never know...

We were going to book for 30th too as that's the day we arrive and thought it would be an amazing start to the holiday but I wasn't sure if we'd make it. Our flight arrives at 9.20am and we've only got hand luggage but youjust never know how long check in is gonna take might chance it still

Have you thought about reserving a couple of different days and finding out before hand who will be in there?? I know its a lot of hassle, but if you really want to try and see her??? Do you want me to kidnap her as I'm there just before you and hold her till you arrive?

if it was just DD and I again, I'd definitely do that. But as I'm taking my SIL and Niece, I think we'll just have to stick with our original day and hope for the best. It's their first every trip to DLP so I'm sure they'll be happy whoever they see!
