Took our first cruise in May this year and thought I'd share our door decoration. I'm rather proud of it.

Oh yeah, the first night my family stood next to the door inside the stateroom listening to all the compliments.

How did you get the lanterns to glow? That is such a pretty door!

Cheap color changing tea lights from Amazon and then I glued a magnet to the back of them. Printed out a lantern pattern I found online and stuck them in the middle.

Since everything laid flat in the suitcase it was easy to pack too.

Sure has my door decorations beat...great job! Have you seen the rather old video of the "Up" door decoration a woman made maybe a year ago or so? It was also 3D and most creative. I have to "up" my game.

Me too!! We have two Rapunzel wigs that I could totally use one and hang with magnets!!

I used basic hook magnets and a $10 costume wig I found on Amazon. My wife attached some fake flowers to it and shaped it around the stateroom number.
