Rapunzel, Rapunzel ...

The gossip at MK is that he's coming back this spring.

The gossip also said that the main reason he was pulled was that he was so popular his presence made the lines too long and guests were getting very angry about the wait.

Can't be as bad as the 3.5 hours we had to wait on Leap Day!

So - the lines are STILL long without him, and all they did was make many guests angry that he wasn't there anymore.
There are other ways to solve these problems...let's see if they ever implement any of those ways.

When we met Rapunzel in February, we asked where Flynn was. She said he had taken Maximus for a ride so they could get to know and understand each other better. There is still a little tension between them, apparently. I thought that was a cute answer.

Did you get to see Tink and/or Ariel? I'm worried we'll have to choose Rapunzel over them? Is it possible to see all 3 AND ride Dumbo and FP Space???

Tink and Ariel always have quite long lines. They both meet in adventureland. Tink meets with some of the other Faeries in her own building. Ariel is currently meeting with Erik on the verandah, next to where the Faeries building are. She's only meeting as "human" for the time being, so no tail.

My advice would be to see what times they're meeting and line up at least 30 minutes before for Ariel and Erik.

Tink I think meets all day, I'm not sure the best time to see her. We recently went at 1am with NO lines!! We were the only ones there when it had been a 45 + wait to meet her all trip

If you don't mind me hijacking your thread for a bit, can someone explain this whole meet and greet system to me?
You have to get in a separate line for each princess? Are most of them right beside each other? When I looked at the MK website it says that Town Square Theatre is the meet and greet for Princesses and that you can get a fast pass for it.
I am just so confused. Sorry if this has been asked and answered.

Ps- Does Rapunzel have long hair when you meet her?

There are places to meet characters in all of the parks at various locations in the parks. There is a set schedule for them which can be found in various places. I personally like Kenny the Pirate's site for his neat and easy to read charts.
As a general rule you should be in line 15-30 minutes in advance of the character's set meeting time (depending on how crowded the park is and how popular the characters are). They cut the lines off once they get to a set length. There's nothing worse than a child who wants to see a certain character and finding out the line is cut off all while they see other children in line meeting them... So plan, choose the ones that are "must meet", and save the others for another trip.
At MK you are able to get FP to meet Mickey/Minnie and 3 princesses (usually Cinderella, Belle, and Aurora - although they never guarantee specific characters).
At the meet and greets you can have a photo taken, have an autograph book signed and interact briefly with the character until it is the next person's turn.
Have fun!!!

ps - Yes Rapunzel has her long hair at the M&G.

I haven't met Rapunzel, but I hope she does have her long hair...as do my girls! As far as meet and greets.....certain characters will be at certain spots at certain times and people line up to "meet and greet" them...take photos and sign autographs. The princess M&G is on main street and there is Aurora, Belle and Cinderella there...I think. But, Rapunzel has her own M&G..as does Ariel...and Tink. Tink usually has 1 other fairy with her and I guess Ariel has Eric with her right now. But most characters have their own line....their own "meet and greet"

Ok I get it now - Thanks for breaking it down!
I checked the pirate page and it looked like some kind of contest - a bunch of numbers. I will go back, I missed it somehow. Thanks
(Edit- Nevermind I found it!)
