I know that with the Frozen girls' popularity I won't even attempt to see them without a fast pass. However, what do you guys think the line will be like at rope drop to see Rapunzel? I would prefer to use my fast pass on something else, so if anyone has any experience on this it would be so helpful. My plan is to see Rapunzel at rope drop and then Ariel at her grotto in the shortest amount of time possible.

If you go straight back to Rapunzel at rope drop or shortly there after, you should be able to get in without much wait at all. She always has a longer line than Cinderella, but when they are combined (after A & E) move in, they may have a bit more of a wait together. She can have a line currently about 90 minutes in the afternoon, but in the morning I wouldn't expect more than 15-20 minutes (except maybe on a holiday, etc.) I say this as someone who pretty much sees her every weekend with my 2 year old daughter (we have APs and are local. :) )

Ariel's line can back up quite a bit, especially with FP+ I might even recommend seeing Ariel first since that area she's in is a bit more congested with the rides and BOG being around there and her line just always seems to move slower, and the inside queue of Fairytale Hall is a bit more comfortable to wait in than Ariel's Grotto. Just my .02 :)

I am wondering if people won't have one member of their party wait for Anna/Elsa and send the kids and the rest of their group to get in line for Rapunzel.

That's why I'm thinking Rapunzel might be busy too. But I don't have anything to back this up so I could be totally off base.

I do like your plan of seeing Rapunzel first and then Ariel after though.

The logistics of inside the queue of PFTH doesn't make this very easy to do. Right now with A & E the lines are outside and very out in the open and very accesible for your family to come and go and join you in the line, but in Fairytale Hall, the queue is inside a building and very densely packed in and weaves in and out. Your family would essentially have to pass a ton of people to meet you up in the line (and given the frenzy around the A & E meet and greet, people may not be so keen on a bunch of people pushing ahead in the line :lmao: ) I have seen a family member try to catch up with her family in the queue, and a CM has had to take her through the FP+ hall and up and around that way because of the nature of the standby queue.

And really, as long as you are there early, Rapunzel is not a crazy wait at all. (and FP+ makes it even easier to do, though using FP+ in PFTH does rob you of seeing the Princess Portraits and Cinderella's slipper on display.)
