Rant over everything !!

My broadband supplier, Sky, has been down pretty much all day and is just up and running now. I managed to get on line for half hour this morning, then CRASH, down everything went !!

I kept trying to reboot the computer and did the diagnostic check too, as I thought they were the problem, but nothing worked. Eventually after a couple of hours of **** and more **** words, I decided I would phone Sky. "Oh yes", he said, you and a few others have been down most of the day - you should be up and running by teatime though". (Suppose he was right though !!)

This just hasn't been my day at all because to make matters worse, when I was putting the glass and tin items in the plastic box for the bin men tomorrow, I cut my hand on a glass that had got broken yesterday. So now I am typing minus one finger, which is throbbing like nothing else. It now has 2 plasters on it, and is still bleeding !! This day can't get much worse can it !!

Thanks people !! We're up and running again for now anyway (fingers crossed).

Hand covered in plaster and bandage - but we're getting there.
Nearly thought I'd be off to A&E this afternoon !!

I seem to be managing to post, but impossible to play "Superman" right now.
Finger has stiffened up somewhat and I can't do a thing with it !!

It was my middle finger on my right hand, and also between the thumb and forefinger. Stupid of me to break a glass then try to pick it up I guess !!

Should be back to normal in a day or 2, not that anyone would notice

Hi !! Thank you all for your concern but everything seems (at the moment) ok today.

Only problem today was putting on 2 pounds at Weightwatchers this morning, and not being able to access the DIS boards until now !!

Guess this isn't my week !!

Cheer up! It could be a lot worse, you could be my weight, now that's worth getting fed up about!
