Rant: Buying Christmas cards

Ya know I just needed a couple of Christmas cards not a whole box. So I go to the store to find some generic cards. There were like only 5 of them. All the rest of were specific like for Dad, Mom, Son, Daughter, Uncle, Aunt, Niece, Nephew, Dog, Cat...etc. There were tons of those but just 5 generic and of those 5 they were ugly or very sexual in nature.
Whats the deal!!! Do we really need to have specific cards? How about just writing in the card To So and So?
