We do a lot of best restaurant threads around here, but I would also be interested to know everyone's complete rankings of the table service restaurants they have eaten at. I love seeing how other people rank their experiences and the complete ranking gives a lot more information than a top 5. You can make a simple list and submit it or add a quick sentence to talk about why you have ranked as you did (consistency, quality, inventiveness, whatever matters to you).

I'll start.
  1. Victoria and Alberts: Yes it is super expensive and it's not a fair comparison. But I went in expecting to be disappointed (have eaten at 3 Michelin star restaurants outside the bubble) and was surprised to find that it ranked in my top 5 meals of all time. Seasonal, fantastic flavors, the right balance between classic and experimental, great service, fantastic cocktail pairing.
  2. Boma: I love a buffet with a mix of comfort food and unusual options like Boma. The food quality is always good, they have some of my favorite dishes at Disney.
  3. Le Cellier: I personally LOVE the decor/atmosphere at this restaurant. It's a great place for family style/sharing (Ribeye, Wedge, Poutine, Ice Wine Flight). Cheddar soup is a guilty pleasure. 😂
  4. California Grill: Best wine list at WDW by a wide margin. The space is fantastic and service is great but I've found the food to be a little hit and miss with some dishes being absolutely amazing and some being just ordinary. Even ordinary dishes here is still better than most other Disney TS so I stop by at least once a trip.
  5. Hacienda de San Angel: I was surprised by the quality of the food and drinks here. It's a large restaurant and when I think "Disney Mexican" I don't think upscale dining - but Hacienda is really great. I went with a large group and everything was great. I felt like I had found a hidden gem. Our waiter was fantastic too (for sure a cut above the usual).
  6. Summer House: I wish they would open a Summer House QS location at MK with their salads - it would be the top dining spot at MK in a heartbeat. The Costa Mesa salad is craveable (as it should be for $20). Add protein and it's $30+ but it's worth it to me since the portions are large. They are fantastic about allergies and food restrictions. The cookies are almost a meal by themselves.
  7. Sanaa: Is it the most authentic Indian food? No. But the bread service and butter chicken are fan favorites for a reason. The fact that you can also mobile order for to go is amazing. (Edited to change the terminology from "grab and go" to mobile ordering)
  8. Tusker House: Tusker House to me is like Boma lite. It has enough to keep me interested and the kids happy. I am happy to go for the food, the character dining is a bonus.
  9. Ohana: I've had some really amazing meals at Ohana. I've also had some ordinary ones. There is always something that hits the spot and I've never had an issue with waitstaff service here. Last time I was there the Ukelele player (who I've seen have charming performances there before) did zero singing and just walked around shouting out birthdays and chit chatting for an hour and a half. It was so ridiculous it felt like a joke and really made dinner a lot less enjoyable. Thus the restaurant is ranked lower than it might have been based just on food alone. Less talky, more singy. Or just be quiet.
  10. Space 220 Restaurant: As an experience it's out of this world (get it?). But I've had inconsistent food (over salted Short Rib, things not cooked to correct temps). I rank it this high simply for the atmosphere. I will try the lounge side in the future to get different menu options.
  11. Crystal Palace: The food isn't going to wow anyone but it's a cut above most of what I've had in MK. Pooh and friends are low key the best character meal at WDW.
  12. Be Our Guest: If all the rooms were as pretty as the side dining rooms this would be ranked higher. I just am not a fan of the massive cafeteria style halls for a TS meal. The food here was fine (Disney does a Filet ok for the most part) but for the price it isn't one I will repeat.
  13. Yak and Yeti: The menu is interesting but I have found the food pretty inconsistent in both quality and flavor. I'll try Nomad Lounge or Tiffins (or just snack at QS spots) before coming back.
  14. Via Napoli: It just didn't do anything for me.
  15. Jungle Nav Skipper Canteen: Second worst meal I have ever eaten at Disney (the first was Pecos Bills Carnitas). I like the gimmick (Dad jokes are fine by me) but the food was dry, tasteless and terrible.
Credit to @Jack Kerouac for the thread idea (ref: DVC Resorts from First to Worst thread).

1- California Grill
2-Wine Bar George (brunch is great- steak & eggs with a Frozecato)
3-Boathouse (love their new England style lobster roll -always ask for that way)
4-Le Cellier
5-Chef Art Smith (brunch is great - or get the dumpling soup, yummy)

Sanaa: Is it the most authentic Indian food? No. But the bread service and butter chicken are fan favorites for a reason. The fact that you can also grab and go is amazing.
Great to hear this eatery is still doing grab and go! Is this for all meal times or only breakfast?

Great to hear this eatery is still doing grab and go! Is this for all meal times or only breakfast?
Actually - I think I may be using that terminology wrong in the post - grab and go is usually a per-packaged option correct? I am talking about mobile to go orders which to my knowledge they only offer for lunch and dinner from 11:30am-9:30pm.

This is hard, but I'll give it a stab:

1. (Tied) Narcoosee's and Topolino's (for dinner) - Both offer fantastic food and service and fireworks views - just an overall excellent experience.
2. Homecomin' - yes it's a heart attack on a plate, but we've never had a bad meal or service there.
3. Boma - for either breakfast or dinner - We are not buffet fans but the unique offerings at both meals make this a must do for us.
4. Raglan Road - Food is consistently good, though service can be spotty. If you manage to get a good seat with a view of the show it makes for a fun night.
5. Wine Bar George - The food is always good, though the menu is limited. Of course you come here for the wine and it does not disappoint.
6. Boathouse - Food and service are consistently good here if a little pricey
7. Trattoria Al Forno - This restaurant surprised us! The food was delicious and service was spot on. It's also a great value.
8. Geyser Point - consistently good food and service and you can't beat the atmosphere. Time it for the Water Pageant. Drinks aren't the best - grab one at Territory Lounge and bring it down with you.
9. Skipper Canteen - It's the only table service we enjoy in MK. We've had some great meals here though the service can be spotty.
10. Le Cellier - It's been awhile for us, but we've enjoyed the steaks in the past. The tight seating and price move it down the list, though.
11. Steakhouse 71 - After a rough first visit (food was mediocre and service was terrible) we've since had some lovely meals here. Factoring in the reasonable (for Disney) prices, this is a solid option and a great way to escape the MK crazy for a few hours.
12. Olivia's Cafe - The food and service were terrific - a hidden gem though the out of way location moves it down the list
13. Three Bridges - great food, atmosphere and service - again location is a negative unless you're staying at Coronado
14. Rosa Mexicana - best Mexican food on property IMHO
15. Flying Fish - Mostly great food, though I wasn't entirely crazy about my scallop entree. Service was good if a bit overbearing and it's quite expensive. We enjoyed it but haven't gone back.
16. Via Napoli - great pizza if you want a break in the AC at Epcot
17. Il Mulino - somewhat elevated Italian, though a bit pricey for what you get - we live in an area with tons of fantastic Italian restaurants so we are hard judges.
18. Sanaa - We enjoyed the food and service and the views can't be beat. I just think it's slightly overrated and would rather go to Boma.
19. Hollywood Brown Derby - food is always good but I just think it's not quite good enough to justify the price. That Cobb salad is good, but I can also just grab it at the lounge.
20. Yak and Yeti - this probably should be a little higher but I don't want to have to change all my numbers. Food is good and reasonably priced, though service tends to be lacking.
21. Biergarten - Food is pretty good, but you come for the show. We enjoy it for the Candlelight Processional package as it's lovely at Christmas time
22. Spice Road Table - Interesting food and great views of the Epcot lagoon
23. Both Epcot Mexican restaurants - they are fine if you want to overpay for Mexican food and have mediocre service. Honestly, I'd just as soon have the QS there, though.
24. Whispering Canyon - It is what it is - decent BBQ with server schtick.
25. (Tied) Rainforest Cafe and Coral Reef - yes the food is mediocre and overpriced, but when our son was little he loved these places so we always ate there. Once he outgrew them, we've not been back. I can see us taking our (hopefully future) grandkids there someday, though.
26. Tiffins - the food was excellent but the service was horrid. Considering what we paid I doubt we'll be back. However Nomad Lounge is a must every AK day!
27. Jiko - Appetizers were great, but the filet was very poor quality. And service was terrible - from the extremely rude hostess to the mostly absent server. For the price this was a one and done.
28. The Plaza - It's loud, the seating is cramped, food is meh and service was mediocre at best. Then both my son and I got sick afterwards - hard pass.
29. Mama Melrose - ok this doesn't deserve to be this low, but it's been so long since we ate there I almost forgot about it. I actually remember very little about the experience so it must not have been all that great or terrible.
30. Sebastian's Bistro - The only food I actually liked there was the salad and dessert. Everything else was so bland - where are the Caribbean flavors?? The steak was so tough it was inedible and our server was terrible. Never again.

Ok - so here's a few I forgot but don't want to have to re-number everything:

Beaches and Cream (middle of the pack) - You go for the atmosphere and ice cream - the food is just ok. My recommendation is to just grab ice cream from the take out window.

Ale and Compass - put this slightly above the middle - the food and service are consistently good, though nothing too inventive. It's a great option if you're staying at Yacht or Beach Club.

Frontera Cocina - good Mexican food and service though very pricey for what you get - put it middle of the pack

Jaleo - I can't believe I forgot this one!! Definitely top 6 or 7 - wonderful food and service and I'm a big fan of Jose Andreas' humanitarian work - have to support! (Pepe is a great QS as well).

50's Prime Time - food was meh and server was frankly more annoying than funny - near the bottom

Sci-fi - I don't get the appeal. They crammed the three of us in the front seat and put strangers behind us - awkward and uncomfortable and forgettable food

Rose and Crown - This was with the old menu - We enjoyed it (slightly above middle of the pack). With the reduced menu, we haven't felt the need to return, though.

Dang! We've eaten a lot of food at Disney. I'm sure I've forgotten some others, but there's my stab at it.

One more I forgot - Summer House on the Lake. This was a surprise hit. The food was delicious though a bit pricey. Put it slightly above the middle.

Our top 5 has certainly changed a bit over the many years. Our current top 5 (as far as I'll go on this post!). Jiko, Morimoto's, Tiffins, Narcoossees, and a new recent favorite of ours is Amare at Swan Reserve.

What comes to mind because I can’t remember all the eating places at WDW 👵🏾.

V&A Always have a good time here and so nice to see people making an event of eating.

Jaleo, love it no matter the city I’m in.

The Boathouse. Became a natural sit down place for us for bar food-seafood bar that is. Our never have to think when inviting guests place since all will find something liked.

Sanaa. Nice intro to Indian cuisine and yes the only bread service worth the carbs to my way of thinking.

I need to return to each of these restaurants to re-rank: Jiko, CG (used to arrange our WDW arrival to coincide with their brunch. Sigh), FF with one of the best pastry chefs on property. None of that pretty looking Crisco stuff with an over abundance of sugar to mask the lack of flavor.

Wine Bar George- amazing wine list at a studied informal setting. Limited food list but all solid choices that the cooks can pull off with ease.

Morimoto- was really good but needs to step up their game. Dropped too many dishes that distinguish.

I’m sure I’m missing tons of places but as they come so I’ll write them.

.

Adding on…

blue zoo- I had such high hopes when we ate here but reality crashed and burned the house down as it were. The worst service ever near WDW. The service was so bad it drove the taste of the food to the back of the bus.
I refuse to give this joint a third chance.

Narccossee -Eh. Only if I have to. If the man was here I’m sure he’d disagree. I have high standards for fish and seafood eateries and possibly over-judge them 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Sebastian’s- I don’t know why it’s been labeled a Latino restaurant; seems more Anglo-Caribbean but that could just be wishful thinking, lol. Great bang for the buck although haven’t been there since the menu change to a version of AYCTE.
Fresh, well seasoned food. Now just put some oxtails on the menu and show us what you can really do.

Hollywood Brown Derby- After a lot of tryos throughout the park, this became our HS go to for lunch. Yes to the Cobb salad of course but some lovely morsels hiding in plain sight seasonally as it were: the beef carpaccio, a shrimp and corn dish, the escargots. Love sitting on the terrace to avoid making ADRs. All is well here but have a care booking an ADR on a holiday such as Turkey Day or CE/CD; management seriously overbooks.

well, I'm sure the ones in the middle could be changed a little, but I got the top and bottom correct at least.

Raglan Road - Upscale Food, Great Entertainment, Great Drinks, Inexpensive comparatively. It pretty much has everything you could want, unless you're looking for library quiet. I normally go here twice each vacation.

Boathouse - food is always good here.

Flying Fish - had wonderful food here, and walked by this place about 30 times before going in. Never realized what kind of a gem was hidden behind the meager entrance on the boardwalk.

Kona Cafe - went here once, had a wonderful time and wonderful food. Will be going back.

Geyser Point - I really like this place, and would go more often if it wasn't out of the way.

Teppan Edo - always fun to go here, and the food is always very good. It isn't as good as our local Japanese Steakhouse, but it still is pretty good!

Le Cellier - never had a bad meal here. I'm not a huge fan of the dark/dusty atmosphere, and the tables are pretty crammed together in there. Steak is very good, but also quite expensive.

O'Hana - always fun to go here, but last few times the food wasn't as good as in the past. Will probably skip it next time around.

Artist Point - this is very pricey, but the atmosphere and setting is so unique. I'm not a big sugar/dessert person, so I spent a lot of money just to enjoy the characters. But everyone else loved it - lots and lots of sugary food/desserts! The Evil Queen was just amazing to interact with.

Chefs De France - love mingling with the French Staff, food is average. Wine is good.

Via Napoli - had a few good times here. Love drinking the wine, and talking to the cultural representatives. I'm not a pizza fan, so i'd probably rank this higher if I was.

Space 220 - The appetizers and drinks were really good! The main course was just okay. We will definitely go back someday, but probably save some money and just do the bar area.

Mama Melrose - had a good meal here, nice air conditioning, friendly staff. would go back some day, but isn't a must do.

Whispering Canyon - fun place to try once - food is okay, but you get a lot of it!

Sebastian's Bistro - went there twice. the first time it was amazing and I ate a ton of food. Second time, it was just okay. If you really want a place you can fill up on a ton of food, this is the place and it usually isn't too busy.

1900 Park Fair - had some very good breakfasts here. The Character interaction is always entertaining. Years ago Mary Poppins was a riot, and this last trip Aladdin stole the show.

City Works - Went twice, nothing special.

T-Rex - food is okay, great atmosphere -- especially if you have kids.

Tusker House - we usually go at the end of breakfast so we get both breakfast and lunch foods. It is decent, but not worth the money if you aren't into Character meals.

Biergarten - fun atmosphere, food is below average.

Rose and Crown - I love the UK area in Epcot, it is my favorite place to be. The bar is fun to drink and hang out in, but the food is below average.

Bouma - Wasn't super impressed with the place, food was average.

Beaches and Cream - I'm not into ice cream, so this place is like an overpriced diner for me.

Ale and Compass - ate breakfast here, nothing special. It was fine.

Plaza - food was average, but hard to forget the cockroach that landed on our table. So probably won't be going back to that one.

Akershus - it was worth going once, for the experience and meeting the princesses. We went for breakfast for the old menu -- haven't gone back with the new menu because they got rid of most of the stuff I was eating.

50's Prime Time Cafe - decent food, just not worth what you pay. The Character breakfast was fun when the kids were younger.

House of Blues - food was below average, probably won't be going back again.

Crystal Palace - Breakfast was mediocre, basically it is Chef Mickey in a different location.

Chef Mickey's - wasn't a fan of the buffet food, the concrete atmosphere, just wasn't into it.

Morimoto Asia - wow, this place is expensive. Like $29 for one piece of sashimi. I guess I'm just not that high class.

Spice Road Table - We had great service, but food was not very good. Drinks weren't great either, and we just weren't into the atmosphere.

Rain Forest Cafe - blech. Rubbery Chicken and gross food.

Sci-Fi Diner - second worst meal I've ever had. And to top it off, the waiter dumped salsa all over my brand new shoes. It wasn't even our salsa lol.

Brown Derby -- ugh. Worst Meal I have ever had, and it cost double what it should have. Nothing gets me more upset than having to shell out a lot of money for a terrible experience. Horrible, stuffy atmosphere. Wish they would just get rid of the place and put something better in HS. This place is dead to me, and I would never go back again.

EDIT: I forgot a few, so I added them back in.

Love Brown Derby Cobb salad with a protein.

My top 5:
1 Topolino's dinner: Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere.
2. Narcoosee's: My scallops were amazing and the service was great. Took a cup of coffee out to the terrace for fireworks viewing!
3. Shula's: Best steak on property, better than Yachtsman and Le Cellier. Slow but excellent service. Expensive though!
4. Le Creperie de Paris: A hidden gem in my book. The food and service are top notch and you can always get a reservation.
5. Garden Grill: Breakfast or lunch, doesn't matter. It's all good. I don't need the characters, just bring me the food!

My bottom 5.
1. Sci-Fi: I don't get what the fascination is with this place. It's dark, you're crammed into a greasy car, and the food is quick service quality.
2. The Plaza: They were an hour behind on reservations. The food was just meh and the service was slow. a waste of 2 and a half hours of our MK time.
3. Mama Melrose: We use to love this place, but the last 2 times we ate here were plagued by bad service and subpar food. To make matters worse, they ran out of bread.
4. Olivia's Cafe (only for breakfast): Runny, uncooked scrambled eggs. Sent back. 10 minutes before I got them back. Cold as ice. Dinner is great though!
5. Ohana: So inconsistent. We never know what kind of experience we are going to have.

Oooh fun idea. Agree with others who said that my top handful and bottom handful are pretty solid, but the middle was pretty hard to rank. Here's my list with commentary where I had any:

1. Wine Bar George. Amazing service, and insanely reasonably prices for the quality. One of the best "values" for our money, loved everything about it.
2. Le Cellier. Consistent and delicious.
3. Nomad Lounge. Wonderful atmosphere, unique food, would love just a little more variety.
4. Rose and Crown
5. Sanaa
6. Boathouse
7. Garden Grill. Food isn't high end by any means but it's consistent and the character interactions here are some of the best.
8. Liberty Tree Tavern
9. Via Napoli
10. Trattoria al Forno
11. Kona Cafe
12. Chefs de France
13. Coral Reef. Simply beautiful restaurant, but mixed experience on the food itself, including a seafood dish that undercooked, and a looong wait.
14. Crystal Palace. Understandable appeal to the toddler/Pooh-loving crowd, but loud loud loud and food/service can be just ok.
15. Whispering Canyon Cafe. This atmosphere is not for me, servers came off more rude than funny, and the food was seriously hit or miss.
16. Ohana. One and done. INSANELY priced for what you get. Apps were good, dessert delicious, entrees were awful.
17. Plaza. Huge miss. Long waits, food was not good. Never again.

Victoria and Alberts: Yes it is super expensive and it's not a fair comparison. But I went in expecting to be disappointed (have eaten at 3 Michelin star restaurants outside the bubble) and was surprised to find that it ranked in my top 5 meals of all time.
I felt the same way -- totally fearing we'd be disappointed but it truly blew me away. We live in NYC and my DH worked in a three Michelin star restaurant for years, so even Signature Dining at Disney has often felt mediocre to us. That said, my DH would go to V&As each trip if he could (we don't).

I want to add a few thoughts on some restaurants that came up here based on my experiences last week. These are not my official rankings... my family was always a creature of habit and we dined at the same few places (Spoodles/Kouzzina and Garden Grill) over and over, but as an adult with my own family I've started venturing into all the places I always wanted to eat.

First, Coral Reef. I had dinner here with my toddler son. His kids shrimp meal was perfect for him and tbh we could have shared it. I had the mahi-mahi and the flavors just didn't meld, but the service was so friendly and welcoming. There is a lot of coconut on the menu which doesn't appeal to me, but I chose it simply because of the huge array of options on the kids menu, which was a win in my book.

Second, Storybook Dining at Artist's Point. The food was absolutely superb!! I was boring and had the chicken but it was delicious. Even better were the appetizers and desserts. Truly, I can't wait to go back (even if my toddler didn't like the characters in his space). I ate here long ago before it was Storybook Dining and I remember the food being excellent then, too.

Finally, we surprisingly also had a great chicken dinner at Everything Pop at Pop Century Resort.

Anyway, places I would dine again include Citricos, San Angel Inn, Jiko, Skipper Canteen, Garden Grill, 50's Prime Time Cafe, La Creperie de Paris, Yak and Yeti, Nomad Lounge, Topolino's (dinner), Be Our Guest (for the food), Chef Mickey's (for the characters), Sci-Fi Dine-In. Yes this is a very weird assortment!

Places I'm not clamoring to go back to: California Grill, Hollywood Brown Derby, Narcoossees, Boma, Via Napoli, Steakhouse 71, Ohana, Beaches and Cream, Crystal Palace.

Places I refuse to eat again: Il Mulino.

Sci-Fi Diner - second worst meal I've ever had. And to top it off, the waiter dumped salsa all over my brand new shoes. It wasn't even our salsa lol.
"My good man I'm going to kindly ask you to remove this mess you have created on my shoes and promptly return with the correct order to deposit on my shoes." :earboy2:

I think my top five would likely go something like this:

1) Sanaa - Absolutely my favorite meal I've had on property. Everything was perfectly prepared, incredibly flavorful, and unique compared to what you typically find elsewhere at WDW. Plus our waiter was fantastic - probably the best I've had at an on property restaurant - and the view really sells the atmosphere. Sharing the bread service with my family and discussing what dips/spreads we liked most was also just a really fun experience.
2) California Grill - Haven't been since the switch to prix fixe, but we blew it out on this one when we went and found it very worth it. I'm a sushi lover and my family shared several rolls while there, all of which were great. Funnily though, I think my favorite thing I at there was the croquettes, which I don't think are even included with any of the entrees anymore. Oh well. Loved watching the MK fireworks from their little viewing area. Very memorable meal.
3) Le Cellier - Very cozy place, in my opinion. Atmosphere is cozy, food is cozy, everything was very good. It lived up to the hype at the time I went. I don't think there's much more that needs to be said; good from start to finish.
4) Ale & Compass - Went at lunch on our arrival day and was extremely surprised over how good this place was. While the selection isn't anything particularly special, it was all really good. We went to Yachtsman's Steakhouse during the same trip and my whole family agreed that this meal was more memorable. Maybe we caught Yachtsman on a bad day, maybe we caught A&C on a REALLY good day, but I recommend it.
5) 'Ohana - I'm putting this here because I KNOW people call it overrated and talk about having really mixed experiences, but I personally have yet to have a bad experience here. Perhaps I'm just lucky. Plus the bread pudding is one of my absolute favorite foods on property - I would happily brave overcooked meats for it if I must, though I think it (maybe?) can be ordered at Tambu Lounge. But since I've yet to have a bad time at 'Ohana, I have no real need to make that trade off yet.

Some other table service I would recommend are Kona Cafe, Tusker House, Yak & Yeti, and Jiko. Frankly, the only reason Jiko isn't in my top five is because I had a cold when we went and couldn't taste very well, but the fact I still can confidently recommend should speak to its quality. The only WDW table service places I would actively advise against would be Crystal Palace (unless you're there for the characters rather than the food) and Sci-Fi Dine In. Sci-Fi is a great idea, but the food there made me so sick, and I have a really strong stomach typically.

My family is full of creatures of habit so we've branched out less over more recent trips. But my trip in May is with my bestie, so I'm hoping to try a whole slew of restaurants I haven't made it to yet, such as Boma and Topolino's.

Through the years we have been to 35 TS restaurants, some of which we repeated many times.

None are must do every time but if I was trying to invite someone for a first experience, here are the ones I would enjoy repeating:
- One Mickey and friends, either Chef Mickey or Tusker House
- One princess, preferably CRT but Akersus works too
- I used to like 1900 Park Fare, maybe I would try it with the new characters
- If going to Disney Springs, T-Rex… We will try Boathouse next so maybe this will change
- We like both Artist Point (dinner) and Whispering Canyon (lunch), for different reasons

I prefer QS or booths at Epcot and HS.

The ones we are not tempted to ever go back are Citricos, Ohana dinner, Raglan Road and Skipper Canteen. Maybe we were unlucky for these.
