I'd love to see everyone's rank list for DHS. We haven't been in years, and we really want to do a Fantasmic dinner package, but we don't really want to dine there!

Give me the good, bad, and ugly!

VP

1. Brown Derby
2. 50's Prime Time Cafe
3. Mama Melrose's
4. Sci-Fi Dine-In
5. Hollywood and Vine

Yes Brown Derby is still 2TS...I would rank them in the same order as pp. Love Brown Derby!!! and love the fact that you can get the Fantasmic package with it. On our last trip we went to 50s and it was terrific. DH wasn't sure about going, and in the end loved it. The waitress was great as well as the food. Mama Melrose was good, but not terrific. DH did not like SciFi, but I loved the atmosphere. Food is okay...burgers, hotdog, etc....but decent. My son thought the movie in an old car was fabulous.

I would say:

50s Prime Time
Mama Melrose
tie: Brown Derby & Sci-Fi

Haven't been to H&V. I know BD is supposed to be "all that" but we really weren't impressed with our meal there. It was okay. We love the atmosphere at 50s and we just went to MM for the first time and I thought it was really pretty good (especially since I had LOW expectations given all the bad reviews I've seen).

Well I have not eaten at them all yet but for the ones I have eaten at I would say:

1) 50 PT; not great but better then the others I have tried at HS
2) Sci-Fi; the car was fun, the food was average at best. I got the ribs and was pretty disappointed
3) Hollywood and Vine; we did the Fantasmic package but the show ended up rained out anyway and the food was really not good at all. We do not plan to return there anytime soon.

1. Brown Derby
2. Mama Melrose's
3. 50's Prime Time Cafe
4. Sci-Fi Dine-In
5. Hollywood and Vine

Now i have only eaten at 3, but here they go.
1. Mama Melrose
2. 50's PTC
3. Sci-Fi

Mama Melrose seems to be hit or miss, we LOVED it and had a wonderful meal, but i hear of many people who don't love it. 50's was fun and Sci Fi was as well, but i would only want to eat that food for lunch, it wasn't my favorite, but worth trying at least once for the cool experience!

I have only eaten at 2, but Sci Fi, yuck! We ate lunch there last month. We paid $88 for lunch and my kids split an entree. They had the ribs which my DD wouldn't eat because they were all fat. I had a chicken sandwich and I could swear it was cardboard. The restaraunt itself was cool and we enjoyed that. Our waitress was fine, but it was our worst meal of our trip. Starring Rolls has some decent sandwiches and yummy treats.
