Randy Chapman in Best of Weddings 2007 (The Knot) Issue!!

Hey Girls. As if you aren't tired of hearing me go on and on about how awesome Randy is-- here I go again!

For those with upcoming weddings and are using Randy-- here's some reassuring news (as if you weren't totally in love with him anyway)... Randy Chapman was voted in the top 5 best photographers in Central Florida by The Knot!

It will be coming out in the new issue of The Knot Best of Weddings 2007. I cant wait to pick up my issue!!

And Hey, if you get the opportunity-- you might just want to Congratulate him.... I'm sure sending a little pixie dust his way doesn't hurt!!

He mentioned that to me on the phone Friday. He said the week prior vendors at a wedding kept congratulating him. Finally, he asked 'for what', and only then found out about it. He had no idea, but he suspected that since it states that he specializes in Disney weddings, a lot of nominations came from here! He is so sweet and humble.

You've got that right! He definitely doesn't know what a great person/photographer he is! Such a great guy!

I had a question concerning Randy. I emailed him through his website almost a week ago and he hasn't gotten back to me.

How long does he normally take to get back to you? Or should I just call him?

Im not sure-- however he was one of 5 in Central Florida-- so he could perhaps be the only one in Orlando.... although im not sure who the other 4 are.

You ladies might be shocked by this one. I looked at the magazine the other day. They have a list of the best in Florida, then a small box with the best 8 of the already small list. Randy is the top 8 box. Well, in the estimated 15 listed photographers is DISNEY PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICES! I found it rather strange. I don't think DPS does anything outside of Disney, and why would they suggest them if you can't use them for anything but Disney. I remember seeing another name that was familiar for central Florida, but can't recall it at the moment.

They probably just threw DPS in there because so many brides use them here(they sort of have a corner market on weddings at Disney, next to Randy, of course!). We were VERY pleased with our honeymoon pics by Bryan of DPS so if they're all the same quality as he is, I wouldn't be surprised that they received such high marks.
