Have you ever read something and thought "what's that go to do with anything"? I'm finally reading the pre-release material for Biology and they were talking about genetic engineering. For some reason, they decided to include "A few days later, Jay Leno spoofed the work on the Tonight Show, pretending to steer a buzzing fly by remote control into the open mouth of President George W. Bush". That has nothing to do with Biology. It sort of links to what the topic was about (injecting flies with something call P2X2 that binds to a form of ATP that reacts with a certain wavelength of light) but it's not going to help me in my exam.
OK, this Biology exam is looking increasingly harder by the minute... It seems like every topic we've ever covered in Biology is appearing in this article! Sigh...
I got very little sleep last night. Then, at 7 (like 10 minutes ago) my grandpa calls us back.. he'll be up in a few minutes to look at our oven. Of course, I have to be the responsible one since my sister went back to bed...
Now my dad's going to get lunch before we leave for dance.
I'm watching 101 Dalmatians in the meantime.
That reminds me of a story. When I was really little I was obsessed with this movie and a guy used to walk his two dalmatians past our house everyday. I always called them Pongo and Perdita.
The little things bug me. Silly mistakes, but they're there. They drive me to distraction. You should know enough to be able to avoid these silly slip-ups, yet you can't always. A wrong word, simple math mistakes, an off description, editing mistakes, and so on.
That was a great episode! Watching the Confidential now. Right now, they're showing how they created a replica of the scene that inspired the Cafe Terrace at Night painting. They did well. The visual scene of Starry Night was great as well.
