Yeah, I didn't think it'd be as good as it was.

I watched it with low expectations because I remember it getting bad reviews. Checked it out during the movie and found it has a rating of 61% on Rotten Tomatoes, so it recieved good reviews overall.

Yes that one. I would like to see the sequel which is coming in 2011. Too bad it's called Journey to the Centre of the Earth 2, and I believe it's about travelling to a mysterious island, I think. As I said, the thing I like is it's not an adaptation of the book, but the journey is due to the book so they can add or remove things from the storywithout worry.
