Last night I found out that my great-great grandma met Abraham Lincoln.


My great-great uncle (I think that's right. It's my grandfather's uncle) and his wife founded the town of Elizabeth, New Jersey.


History is awesome.

I don't know much about my family at all really.. just that I'm named after my great-great grandmother and my family came to England from Ireland during the potato famine, I think.

Aww, I found out Mitzi failed her English exam. She hasn't got the result back, but she only managed to write 4 lines in the exam. She's dyslexic so she's allowed to do the exam in a special room where someone reads the questions to her and she'll answer. For some reason, she was expected to read the first part of the exam herself and the words got jumbled up and she couldn't understand much of it. Luckily she'll be able to retake it sometime.

They gave us an article about someone saying that the voting age shouldn't be lowered to 16 and questions about the main points (that was okay) and the language features used (that wasn't so great because there weren't many obvious ones used). And then there was 2 posters from the early 1900s saying that women should be allowed to vote.

This show is talking about a world without oil. Thought it would be helpful for Geography. Why are there fake news reports on the show? In a world without oil, so few people would have enough electricity to watch TV.
