I might not of been that accurate with what to do... So they are all words which have a different meaning in the UK than the USA. Some words (like engaged, flat, lift, etc.) are words used in both languages for the same meaning, but they also have a meaning in the UK that isn't used in the USA. Pants would be a good example. In the USA, they are a clothing you wear around your waist to cover your legs, which we call trousers. In the UK, they are a clothing that cover your privates, which you call underwear. So all those words have a meaning in the UK that you guys use a different word for.
