Eh, I'd probably agree with your stepdad on that one.
I mean, you're totally right, it is depressing once you learn Santa isn't real, but all of those child hood years of beliving in him definatly makes up for it. That's just me though, and I see where you're coming from.
I was also really scared of the Santa guy in the mall, so that probly factored in to why I didn't believe in him. I didn't want to think of that scary guy breaking in to my house just to leave presents.
