I understand your dissapointment, last week I found out that a week earlier the Yankees unofficial "mascot" [Freddy Sez] died from suffering a heart attack.

This is the stuff, waking up at 10:30 on a Thursday morning, not having to worry about the alarm going off, or having to go to school. THANK YOU VETERANS. I enjoy this holiday.

Yepp, we get Memorial Day off- May 30th.
And we get Veterans Day off, today!

We've got some very patriotic people who make the school calendar for my county. I know some counties who don't have either of those days off from school.

It'd very disrespectful, but I felt more appalled by the comments people left for some reason...

I never remember Remembrance Day. It's always a day i'm surprised to discover is occurring on that day. I never get poppies, but then again, I never see people selling them.
