When my mom and dad shop at the "bent can store" and they get the cans without the labels on them...........I swear they wait until I come to visit to decide 3 or 4 unlabeled cans will make a good lunch....................

The worst combo ever was pineapple, evaporated milk, and hominy.

Do you think they REALLY like me? I have my doubts................

I found a combination that works quite well...Clinique mild soap first thing in the morning, then at night, Clinique wash-away gel cleanser (for the makeup), Clean and Clear scrub, Clinique clarifying lotion, Clean and Clear cream, and Clinique dramatically different gel. I shouldn't make it sound like I'm all broken out...I just have one zit right in the middle of my cheek. But when you're as pale as I am, it's like a glaring headlight...

I use Mary Kay TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser & Moisturizer for Combination Skin. If you find the Clinique isn't working out for you, give it a try! I have never been one to break out, but I could never use moisturizer until I started using MK. www.marykay.com

Speaking of Clinique...random memory, I guess you could call it...last year, I stopped at the counter with my mother so she could pick something up. The consultant looked at me in horror and asked me how old I was. I told her. She said, "Don't you think you're a bit too old for the black eyeliner?" Excuse me???

Random thought: I love that my kids are great sleepers. DD2 slept from 7pm-9am and DD5 slept from 8:45pm to 9am. :

When I was in my adolescence, oh those many years ago, the rumor was that a certain activity caused acne. That would be the same activity that caused hairy palms and blindness (to which the answer is "can I just do it until I need glasses?"). Well, my palms aren't hairy, my skin is clear and I haven't gone blind, so I would have to call those rumors false and I'm afraid that didn't even come close to answering your question.

We just got back from visiting my MIL. She FINALLY gave me my birthday present-- a black teeshirt with a swirly paisely-teardrop design on the front done in little sparkly things and a retro 80's style acid-washed denim vest. Now all I need are some buttons with cute sayings/pictures/whatever to go on it.
