Favorite DL bathroom:

The ones under the hungry bear restaurant! Very deluxe!

Favorite DCA bathroom :

The ones by cruella's trailer....they obviously have her touch!

When oh when will Disney upgrade their toiletries! They are so cheap, I think Best Western easily beats them!

The average turkey leg could feed 3 people.

I missed the hanging flower baskets on the lamppost....I love the smell of those petunias!

After having tried all 3 resorts, PP is my favorite.

I could eat soup from the pacific wharf bakery every day!

Rides I used to think were better at DL, but now think are better at WDW: the train, splash mountain

We really,really like DCA

The person in the second row is who Roz will make a comment to.

I am getting jaded, screaming seems so tame compared to Hulk, dueling dragons, Kraken, etc.

Even I must admit the DL hotel is way overpriced, it really is compared to a WDW moderate.

DL's Fantasyland still kicks WDW's bum.

I enjoyed fireworks more at the Small world site, than in front of the castle.

A ride on the orange stinger is just like flying :)

more random thought in time......

I love the bathrooms by Cruella's trailer. There is hardly ever anyone in there.

The last time we rode Monster's Inc. Roz commented to the people in the first row. She said cheese to the girl taking a picture of her.

The Broccoli and Cheese soup is very yummy at Pacific Wharf Cafe.

The bathrooms at Bugs Land are funny because of the chirping crickets.

We love the Orange Stinger.

We watch the fireworks on the side of the castle by the Matterhorn.

I visit every bathroom. Hard to choose a fave. I get teased by DH all day.

Love the Orange Stinger.

Popcorn in NOS.

A chorro anywhere.

Turkey sandwiches in Pacific Wharf Cafe.

The whole park!! ;)

I tried the bathroom outside the Tiki Room this last trip. I hadn't ever noticed it before and thought it must be really cool since it's for the Tiki Room! Wrong! It was 2 stalls and looked like it hadn't been updated since it was built. It was like going back in time.

My fav are the ones by the barbeque area in the back of the park (behind Big Thunder). They are rustic and as I recall I liked the fixtures.

I almost died laughing when I read this because CHORRO is a slang term in Spanish for diahrea. :rotfl2:

I of course knew that you meant a churro. :thumbsup2

My favorite bathroom is the one closest to me at the time. :goodvibes

I agree, the DL Hotel is overpriced. I do stay at one of the Disney hotels though when I find a good deal. It does make for a better Disney experience. Found a great deal for Paradise Pier, and that's where we're staying this October. :cool1:

I do like the turkey legs, and you're right, they are definately big enough to share. We split one between the four of us for a great snack (DH, me, DS 7 & DS 3).

Never ridden Screamin'........yet. (kids too small, & I don't want to ride by myself)

Never ridden the Orange Stinger.........yet. (same reason as before)

Never ridden Monster's Inc. (It wasn't open yet the last time we were there, but we get to ride it in 4 weeks :woohoo: )

I don't know what rides I'll like better at WDW, but I do like how you get to sit side-by-side on WDW's Splash Mountain.

I love the soup from the Pacific Wharf too.

We really, really like DCA too!

Never saw the fireworks from It's A Small World. I've only seen them from in front of the castle.

We can't wait to go to WDW next year. I'm really looking forward to Epcot and the Animal Kingdom! And I'm really looking forward to staying at one of the WDW resorts! :cloud9:

LOL well she did say she visits every bathroom.

:rotfl2: Sorry, my bad!! Youd never know that my DN is in a spanish emersion school! She teaches me nothing!! :teacher: I am not going to edit the statment above. I think it adds alot to the post! (I will work on my typing too.) Thanks for the giggle. :goodvibes

Ok....brace yourself! More random thoughts!

A ride on the carousel is the best way to end a DL trip

I am still a sucker for Small World

I hope they keep ride vehicles for photo ops after the anniversary

New favorite family experience:
riding in the caboose of Casey Juniors train....good clean fun!

I will never get why they moved the rocket ships....and basically forever ruined the flow of Tomorrowland.

We all loved SM, it is so dark, and the new ending effects are so disorienting I swore every time we went backwards......

I love it when rides empty into the ride photo things.....win win merchandising at it's best!

Why oh why do women wear high heels to DLR??????

The music groups in DTD are super....only bought one new CD this trip though....from the guy with the rotating glass thingy ..... Although Drew the violinist will always have the biggest place in my heart!

If you have a choice of seeing the parade at 3 or 7....go with 7. The floats are at their best with the lighting effects. I also enjoyed the parade more than i expected too.

I hope they keep the first 50 year exhibit in the Mr Lincoln hall. It was fantastic.

Tortilla joes will be a skip in the future.......

Didn't step foot in toontown, didnt miss it. (oops except during the 5 k)

We left the camera at home this year....didn't miss it. Got some great pictures from the Disney guys.

Ride pictures are great , wish they had more
I agree Tortilla Jo's is terrible.
And what is with the mini skirts & high heels.........how do they get in the rides? :confused3
I had a cute moment out side the bathrooms by the matterhorn with the princess and knight signs....a dad told his daughter that is it where the princesses tinkle princess: , that wiill always be my favorite .....because in there I can too be a princess

I didn't see as many bigger kids riding in strollers at DL or CA as I do at WDW. Most of the stroller riders seemed to be 4 or under.

There doesn't seem to be as many popcorn stands as churro stands in DL.

Haunted Mansion and POTC are way superior at DL over WDW.

I like the Sun Wheel, but only in a stationary car.

The fried cheese sticks at The Stagedoor are HUGE! You can feed an entire family on one order.

Sorry, the Sleeping Beauty Castle is just so much smaller than Cinderella Castle. It's pretty, though.

Fantasyland at DL and Toontown at DL also beat WDW hands down.

Random thoughts....

I am a sucker for "C" rides.....Winnie the pooh, Monsters, Buzz, Toad, Alice.......

Loved the ToT, lots of smaller drops with good air time.

Why do i bother riding BTMRR during the day, when it rocks at night?

You so totally rock!

Can you tell we loved Crush? ;)

I miss big trees covered in twinkle lights.....although it is nice to see the castle

why oh why don't they have more big comfy couches in the animation lobby ?

Single rider on Soaring is no longer a secret.....very crowded!

I know about a secret bathroom in DL and Im not telling anybody where it is hahaha....

TOT is way more intense when you have your hands up

when you ride something during the day...go on it again at night...totally different effect...

corn dogs in DL is better than in DCA

you will never find a better cherry coke than in the park because they have a special exclusive syrup given by coke just for Disney :goodvibes

why, when people walk in the parks do they only look straight ahead and never down ???? could avoid alot of issues if they did :confused3

The new Space Mountain hurt my neck really bad when I rode it - OUCH! Still love it though.

I'm a big chicken and haven't been on the TOT yet, but I soooooo want to try it. It's just that I hate big drops....but I still soooooo want to try it.

If you happen to see us at DL with our 7 year old (who looks perfectly normal) in a stroller, it's because he's autistic (high functioning) with very poor muscle tone (common for autistic kids), and his little 48 pound body just doesn't have the strength or stamina to walk for very long. Last year, on the first day of our DL vacation, we didn't rent him a stroller because we thought he would be okay and wouldn't need one anymore. Well, BIG MISTAKE on our part. He walked himself sick, and I mean really sick! He was soooo tired and sick that the next day he didn't even want to go to DL, his favorite place in the whole wide world! We felt guilty and horrible! :guilty:

I can't wait to see the castle at WDW. I hear it's spectacular.

Love the Mickey Mouse pretzels with cheese.

Can't go through a day at the parks without eating popcorn and cotton candy. popcorn::

DS(7) will never ride Splash again without wearing a poncho.

In October our DS(7) will ride Indy (my favorite ride at DL) for the first time! YEAH! :cool1:

In October our DS(3) will ride Splash, Soarin', and Star Tours for the first time! :woohoo: (and also maybe Thunder Mountain, not sure about this for him yet)

In October, we're going to see Fantasmic for the first time! :cheer2:

Where can I find the special cherry coke? :drinking1 H and I LOVE cherry coke!!!

I love the child care center on Main Street. If you're close enough and need to change your baby, I highly recommend it.

New to dis...but wanted to join in...

Love "It's A Small World"

Splash Mountain

Tigger!

Remember when they first introduced the sensored bathroom! People were standing in line just to try it out..even when other bathrooms had no lines!

Argh don't tell me that!! Just when I thought I was happy with deciding to stay at DLH :rotfl:

On other matters.......have to agree about the cherry coke, I LOVE the cherry coke in Disneyland :goodvibes
