Yes. Sound is created by vibrations in the air/disruption of molecules. Just b/c someone is not there to hear it, doesn't mean the sound doesn't occur. That's like saying, if a deaf person attends an opera, are the performers really singing/creating sound? Just my humble opion here ...hehe. I've given this some thought, as you can probably tell.

the egg came before the chicken. Chickens are birds and birds came from reptiles. So there was an egg layed by a reptile that had a creature that would evolve into a chicken. so egg before chicken.

and you know whats really fun? take the "wet floor" signs in Walmart and put them on carpet. People will just stop. and wait. and stare. trying to figure it out. I've had a few people take pictures of the sign.
