Random shower question

Not the OP, but I do. Light impact for daily wear, medium to higher impact when I'm working out. I can't stand regular ones.
I don't wear that type at all (I'm an underwire, front-closure person) but I'd imagine it's something like trying to wrestle a wet swimsuit on/off?

I don't really ever try putting them on when I'm wet or just got out of a shower, but they aren't hard at all to put on. No different than a t shirt to me.

Shower in the morning and get dressed right away. If I shower later in the day for any reason I’d only put pjs on if it was the evening.

I shower in the morning, dry off, shave, brush teeth, take meds, put deodorant on and then get dressed. All as one routine, if I stop anywhere in the process I'm probably not going to get finished.
Never tried to put a sports bra on while damp, although I've watched my wife try it a few times.
Drying off well after the shower then air drying the rest of the way while doing the other things seems like it works for her.

The problem I have with that is that if I sweat at night then I'm wearing that all day long. If it's bad I'll shower before bed but if all I did was go to work and come home, I'd rather sleep in the day filth, then sleep clean and carry the night filth with me all day.
I’ve done morning showers in addition to night showers if I wake up hot and sweaty. I also shower after working out even if it’s mid day.

I put my robe on. If traveling it’s pjs. I can’t get dressed until after drying my hair because I shed massively. If I had my clothes on, they’d be covered In hair that I’d then have to pick off.

This exactly. Men have no idea of the struggle.

And no not everyday. Sometimes with a tshirt for good support like at Disney.
So many issues; so little time. Want to take a run at explaining the term "chub rub" and some of the myriad uses for talcum powder during a theme-park visit? That's sort of shower-related. :rotfl:

My usual work routine was a shower being the start of a day, and getting dressed afterwards. I was one of those people who got showered, brushed teeth, shaved, got dressed, gathered what I need for the day, and was out the door within 20 minutes.

If there was a long lag between showering and departing to head somewhere or do something, I might put sleeping shorts back on in the interim.

I'm still trying to figure out "night filth." If you shower and go to bed, what filth is there? Maybe a little bit of sweat from sleeping is not filth. But then again I don't really sweat at night.

Brush teeth, contacts in, shower, get ready with blowdrying hair, get dressed, style hair, accessorize. Out the door.

No PJ's unless the rare occasion I shower before bed.

Dead skin sloughed off in the bed? Maybe they got in bed earlier without showering and the sheets are not pristine clean? IDK, purely speculating.

But you are correct, there is one absolute reality of night filth, night sweats. Hopefully you won't be one of the "lucky ones" to get these with perimenopause. They stink!! I could be in a frozen tundra and still wake up in full sweat, hair even wet. It is so gross.

I shower and then get dressed in the morning. A few times a week I also take a shower at night where I wash my hair and then put the nightshirt on.

Apparently you haven’t gone through menopause yet.

Do you get dressed after you shower in the morning or do you throw your pjs back on?

I put my pjs back on as I despise trying to get dressed after showing. Putting on a sports bra just after a shower is an exercise in frustration.

Usually I put in my pjs. Choose my clothes, eat breakfast, than get dressed.

Posted as had to get dressed right after showering while staying in hotel in Disneyland with family.
I usually shower at night and then it's pjs.
