Random Reservation Confirmation Email

I woke up this morning to another "Reservation Confirmation" email. Initially, I was worried, as I thought maybe something had been changed due to the Covid situation. But that did not appear to be the case.

The trip had been paid in full a couple of months ago, so it isn't from a payment or something.

Then, I thought maybe there was a change to the cruise. I went through it line by line...dining time, ship, date, price, port fees, all of it. And, I don't see where any changes have taken place.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is there any chance DCL did this as a "hint" that our cruise is planning to still be taken?

I have received 2 of these emails as well. Was wondering the same thing. My cruise is this August.

I received the same email earlier in the week and mentioned it in the COVID mega thread. My initial thought was a new update from DCL. I thought it was a bit strange and read every line but it was identical to my original confirmation email.

My guess is this is some sort of glitch. I like to think that maybe DCL just wants to remind us that our cruise is still on. Of course I received my luggage tags for my cruise this month and 2 weeks later it was cancelled. My next cruise is in August on the Fantasy and I really hope it goes.

I've gotten extra emails like these on the last couple cruises we've been on (most recent was our late Jan cruise this year). I got 3-4 random emails leading up to the cruise way before we could book or plan or do anything really.
