Random, Random, Random.....Part Three

Think you would buy DVC, Snow (your parents?)

We stay at lots of time shares, but don't own.
There are usually DEALS (don't read this PAD) to get you to come and try them, and they send you those deals all the time if you start to attend presentations.
We have stayed in fabulous places in Williamsburg, Hawaii, Florida, even in DuBois, PA (who knew time shares would thrive there?) for pennies.....sometimes FREE and with a gift or $$ incentive.
They try to fill unused time share weeks, and you can make out on that!

I've been reading the DVC boards this morning and I'm not sure if it is right for us :confused3 We will probably start going to Disney yearly but as silly as it sounds we love Pop too much to go anywhere else. We have already talked about where we want to stay on our next trip and CBR and POFQ have been mentioned (we have stayed at both before) but in the end we always say we want to stay at Pop ::yes:: So to answer your question DVC is probably not the best thing for us :sad2:

I love the disney visa ( I know, you can get more money on other cards, but not for DISNEY!!)

Hara, the meet and greet at Epcot is well worth it!
PAD, did you realize it was a seperate one form the huge character line cue? We had to ask for directions, we saw that huge line too and were not waiting in that! It is inside (in the middle of innoventions building). When we were there, no line at all, it was near where you get to try the segways.......they take you in a special room that can't be seen by the general public........sneaky almost!
And you get lots of one on one time, you can takeyour own pics without feeling like you are being rushed, they will do a whole photopass set for you... I really thought it was a great deal, then you go pick one for them to print a 5 X 7 right away.

So glad for the information. I felt badly to hear about the long lines for the Visa holders. I figured we will try to be there a bit before the time.

Thanks for the info about the character meet and greet :goodvibes I have added it to one of our Epcot Days :thumbsup2 Does it start when the park opens or later in the day?

It's some time in the afternoon. Don't be surprised if we meet there!

It's so funny that you say that because I was just thinking to myself wouldn't it be funny if hara was at the meet and greet at the same time I was :lmao: Great minds must think alike ;)

Hara
You are going to be tired today!
Was it storms keeping you up?

Guess what? I am already thinking about dinner!! It is only 10:50 AM, too!
Going to make pulled pork BBQ sandwiches tonight, so i put a large pork roast in the crock pot to tenderize and cook......when we get home from ball I will finish it. Now, I am not up to your caliber of planning sides to go with it, but DH was already impressed that we have a dinner plan! Amazed, surprised, etc. He thought he might be in the wrong kitchen for a second! LOL:rotfl: :rotfl2:

I am extremely tired. No storms. Just couldn't sleep.

Pad isn't on right now,
but we were confused about the photo greet area, too, and if I hadn't asked a CM, we would have missed out.
The regular line (no freebie photo) is huge
the disney visa one was no line at all. We probaly spent 15 minutes alone with Mickey and Goofy,...each of us got individual photos, DH and I togehter, lots of all five of us....photos of the kids together......no rush, they were chatty (the CM's) asked about our family, DD9 is a chatterbox to begin with and she talked the whole time to the CM's and Mickey (who does not talk. Did not deter her)

Target also very fun.
I haven't read this weeks ad yet, though. I like to have a plan, even at Target, but hit all the clearance rows first, then do what's on the list!

And get popcorn and coke icee, of course! 1.50 now, but still a deal!

I always wait for the Sunday paper to see the circular. I go through it and make my list!

hara
you inspired me to think ahead about dinner
now, I only have the main course,
but that is a beginning and unusual for me!

That sounds wonderful :goodvibes I'm sure my dad will be excited for the solo picture opportunities...he has been practicing his photopass smile and asked yesterday if he will able to get a few pictures taken of just himself :rotfl2:

Good luck at the baseball game :thumbsup2 I hope DS gets a home run :goodvibes

THanks!
He was a hitting machine yesterday.
Today is Wooden Bat tournament, it is a lot harder to hit LONG with wooden bats. Typically they use aluminum or who knows what the bats are made of. The league buys tons of wooden bats just for this tourney. Lots get broken, the boys hit so hard!
