Random Questions: FastPasses/Night of Joy

Hey everyone ...

I had two really quick questions. How many FastPasses are you allowed to hold at one time? Do they still have that 1 or 2 hour window you have to wait after you get your first FastPass to obtain a second FastPass? Reading trip reports just seems like people get FastPasses left and right!

Second (and completely unrelated) what can I expect for the Night of Joy Weekend? It seems to be scheduled for 9/9 - 9/10. My BF and I are arriving early in WDW on the 10th and want to know what to expect crowdwise/park hours, etc. We WILL NOT be attending the Night of Joy. I have never been in September so I am completely clueless.

You can have as many fast passes as you want, the only thing is after you get one, you have to wait two hours till you get another fast pass. So make sure you check all the rides for the fastest return time. Like get a fast pass for buzz, then wait in the regular line to go on the ride, then check out either COP or the People Mover, then go back get a fast pass to space mountain and/or go back to buzz. Buzz has a quicker return time then Space Mountain, so instead of only getting to ride one ride once, ride it twice and catch a couple of quick loading attractions, and get the other fastpass and ride a cool ride like buzz again! If you want a fast pass for either Thunder Mountain or Splash Mountain, get the fast pass, checkout POTC and Tom Sawyer Island, and maybe even Bear Country Jamboree. The trick is to know what to do during the next two hours after getting the fast pass.

I am holding a fastpass in my hand from splash mountain we got last weekend and it has return between 12:40 and 1:40 another fastpass ticket will be available at 12:45. 3/23/5
