Random Question: Side-Opening Can Openers and Pull-Top Cans

I still use the side-opening can opener on pull-top cans. I prefer not having to deal with the sharp lip inside the can with the pull-top opening. and it is easier to get the contents out without having the lip there.

so I was just wondering what other people do.

It never occurred to me to bother with a can opener when something has a pop-top.

I use the pull-tab on any cans with one, though depending on the contents to be poured out, don’t always need to totally remove it.

I do use a side opener on cans without a pull tab.

a side opening can opener cuts the rolled edge. half stays with the bottom part of the can, half goes with the lid. not shape edges.
