We need to start buying light bulbs in bulk

Kimmar067 want to take a road trip to Costco :moped: We can sample some food while we are there :lmao:

I'll come! I love free samples of food and I should stock up on the lightbulbs. As a little lightbulb aside....DH loves to buy those energy saver swirly bulb ones that cost an arm and are SUPPOSED to last seven years or something. They are the bane of my existance! They don't come ON right when you flip the switch, have to sort of warm up like flourescent ones, so if it is the middle of the night and you flip the hall light on to rush to a child's room, you will still stub your d@$#% toe on the cute little bench in the hallway.........

You know about a year ago a few of our high schools best football players decided to TP our house. Our front yard at that time had alot of trees in it. They did such an outstanding job of toilet papering that a policeman woke us up at 4:00am to tell us. Can you imagine the fear that goes through you when you realize a policeman is at your door at 4:00am. Then he calmly turns his flashlight on your front yard and you see it COVERED. I mean COVERED. It was over the trees from tree to tree. Dripping down from the trees. You couldn't walk through the yard at all it was so covered. Looked like a massive spider web. I have never seen anything like it. They did one incredible job. I was really impressed!! :thumbsup2 And we know it was the football players because they were dumb enough to brag about it on Myspace. ::yes::

:scared1:

I took me a while to get used to the hesitation with these bulbs. I thought my lamps where breaking. :rotfl:

Those things are useless they give off practically no light and I can never see what I am doing :confused3 We will not be using energy saving light bulbs on this thread

HRH- 2 adults, 1) 13/yo $2590.46 that's with only 2 tickets

Our flight $1800 :scared1: Gotta love my husband, well it'd cost us about a grand to drive;)

Back to the drawing board. Still need trans. to resort, etc. etc. etc.

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
YIKES Colesmom. Have you ever stayed at the Hard Rock? Is it worth that much? My frugal schoolteacher mentality is saying :scared1: :scared1: .
WE are staying offsite, so no FOTL for us, but you will spit out your coffee when you hear how cheaply we rented a three bedroom, two bath condo...you really don't want to know if you are already deposited on HRH. Of course, I have three Dkids, and we cannot do a single hotel room, either, not without someone getting injured!

We had a playdate today with a classmate of DS's and I think it went fairly well. :)

Did you page back through for my Dfriend bank story? Banks are very serious places to work. I don't think I would be good at it. I don't think they can take a joke there!:confused3

I saw the story and was happy she found them :goodvibes

Bank tellers here can't take jokes...no matter how funny mine may be ;)

It got all cloudy here now..........just when I was going to start on the shrubs.... oh well......... at least I booked Chef Mickeys!:rotfl2:

What's for dinner?
I have pretty much exhauted the snack shack offerings, we may have to duplicate tonight........DD's would prefer to eat popsicles, sour patch straws and BigLeague chewing gum for dinner, anyway.:faint:

turning40--he turned 4 a couple of months ago and it was his friend Hyperactive Boy who came over. It was the first time I'd ever had Hyperactive Boy to our house (with his mom, of course and his little sister Little Miss Amazing). I was kind of nervous, but it turned out ok. DS was very polite, didn't have a problem sharing his toys and we even had lunch with Hyperactive Boy. All three kids helped clean up and then they went home. So it was, I'm guessing, a relative success. :D
