but, but... if I finish my trippie, that means the vacation is over for real!! Seriously, I just haven't had the time to edit/resize the Castway Cay pics. Work has been crazy, but now I'm off for the summer and should finish that shortly! :cool1:

Ok, here's my story, like it or not:
I have been wanting to do a Disney Cruise for years and years. I actually remember sitting on the couch with my then 2 year old DS, watching a Disney movie (on VHS!! :scared1: yes folks, it was THAT long ago) when they announced "coming soon Disney Cruise line". And I was in love! Well, DH said no way, too expensive. Then DD came along, and I wanted to wait for her to be a little older to fully enjoy it. Then DH started his own business and I kind of gave up begging for a while. Then, April 2006, I finally said "we will do it, whether you like it or not". I searched the internet and came across the DIS! And yes, my avatar referrences to the cruise because it truly was my dream come true! It was supposed to be a "once in a lifetime" trip, but one evening aboard the Magic I told DH "why don't you go stand in line with the kids to take pics with Mickey and I will just stay up here and book us another cruise" and much to my surprise he said "ok" :lmao:

how great! I am SOOOO looking fw to a Dis Cruise----we're planning to wait also until DS 3 is older...........

We need to buy a new digital camera. Any suggestions?

The one which just died on us was a 4 1/2 year old Kodak Easyshare, which I loved because I am an idiot when it comes to cameras. I LOVED that camera but I guess I abused it a little bit because it up and died on me a few weeks back. I am feeling like I lost a limb or something now that my camera is dead. :rotfl:

So what kind of cameras do y'all like? I'm looking for a point and shoot, something kind of easy to use.

I bought a Canon Powershot SD950 IS before our cruise. I am a Canon gal. Love my Rebel XT but I wanted something smaller that I can carry anywhere with me. The Powershot series are great little cameras, easy to use, take great pictures and are small enough to fit into the back pocket of your pants! They just came out with the 1000 models I believe!

My current fav's are: Desperate Housewives, HOUSE, Boston Legal, and Grey's Anatomy.... I never miss Grey's.

those are some of my faves too! Brothers & Sisters is good too. My favorite show was Alias............:worship:  it was awesome!

My MIL lived in Las Vegas and we would always go visit her during the summer. It wasn't quite that hot there but wow! :scared1:

yes--& I was so very intelligent that I wanted to just feel (quickly of course:rolleyes1 ) how hot the black top was.........:crazy2: GUESS WHAT??!!! it was HOT!

it was seriously the best vacation we have ever taken. We can't wait to go back!

going to watch some TV guys and trying to get DH to get off the couch and upstairs in bed, he fell asleep down here. I will be back in a while I'm sure to see if any late nighters are on!

Do any of you :laundy: ? My mom used her clothesline religiously. I always hated stiff undies that had dried in the sun.....yuk! I don't even have a clothesline. Everything goes in the dryer. Or hangs above it and drips on the dryer.

Heavens NO! Dryer for all & I even (don't tell the folks on the Budget Board) but if I haven't taken the clothes out timely I even 're-fluff' for a few minutes.........:ssst:

Nighty-nite-we'll leave the light on for ya! I'll probably be heading off to bed soon.........it's 20 min to 12 here..........

MMMMMMM

I ate at an actual restaurant for lunch
The kind that serves bread and butter while you wait for the rest of your stuff. (McD's doesn't do this!)

I had a deliciously yummy pulled pork sandwich with barbeque sauce and COLE SLAW on a toasted pretzel roll with melted cheddar cheese.........
The cole slaw was on the sandwich.......and a side of cold, fresh broccoli salad with bacon and a mayonnaisy dressing..........Ah............yum!

:faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!
am I????????::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: YUMMY! (mostly jealous of the no McD's)

I am exhausted just thinking about it. I've got my two exams done now I have to focus on the dance recital. We have rehearsals tonight and then a show on Saturday and one on Sunday and I'm in 6 dances plus I help with two classes :faint:

:faint: :faint: :moped: no wonder you're riding backwards!!!!!!

DS texts me to say he is going to the movies with the other daycamp counselors tonight (he needs money)
and I sit here wondering when he got "big" enough to go to the movies without me.......sigh.........

 not looking fw to that........

It's past 5 where Rich:: is at

it's five o'clock somewhere :music:

At our local fireman's carnivals (yes, I will have to bring up SMALL towns, once again) they fry tons of french fries, and you get the delicious thick cut greasy fries and DOUSE them with vinegar.........mmmmmmm it is almost carnival time.

AND: when i was growing up, we used to eat plain noodles (like macaroni and cheese before you add any cheese), and pour vinegar on them, with salt, and consider it dinner. (okay, there were other things to eat, too, but as a kid, I remember ONLY eating the noodles with vinegar)

I have never been able to convince my own Dkids to try vinegar on their noodles. THey like plain, plain, plain, not even butter on them!

we do these carnival w/ yummy carnival food here too (in the surrounding areas of the 'big city').......they are county & town fairs......FUN!:thumbsup2
