I had an inside my head trip down memory lane
to my first college visit


what fun
eating in the dining hall
seeing the dorm rooms
hiking over the campus

so the party goers and the was40's are dining on Pizza Joe
tonight!

(Pizza Joe has the best pizza!)

Dreamcometrue...I was just telling Mom about her today when she brought up California! Too bad she doesn't chat with us anymore...I could have used her help!

a sixth grader at my school got her ear pierced, up high, in the cartilege
and it got infected

so the doc put her on antibiotics
which didn't do much

so her parents used pliers (literally) to remove the earring
and the doc lanced it
and dosed her up on more antibiotics

but she ended up in Childrens Hospital this week with IV blood transfusions
guess the infection got into her bloodstream


She was at school monday
her ear was red, hot and swollen
she went to the hospital tuesday and wasn't back all week

I am thinking of booking airfare on two different airlines
one cheapo price going down
a different cheapo price coming back

DH will probably cringe
he doesn't like things complicated
he would rather spend a few more bucks

Actually...6 months and 10 days...we get to Disney on the 26th and her birthday is on the 30th
