Random Find at Sears!

I was walking through Sears to get to the B&BW sale and noticed some clearance stuff in a bin. Among the items were some down comforters, I looked at the marked down price on the King and it was marked to $17.97, pretty good huh? Then I noticed on top of the clearance sign it said take an extra 50% off the marked down price so I took it to the register to have them check and sure enough it rang up $8.98! I was psyched b/c our down comforter is 11 years old and has been losing filling and we can't find where from - so I gladly paid $8.98 to replace it!

that's awesome, sometimes you never know. i needed gloves last Jan. and all stores were cleaned out. i had parked outside of sears b/c the mall was busy and on my way out i saw hey had lands end gloves. i got a nice pair of goatskin ones for only $10! maybe if you go in there only once a year you can find a bargain.

I just wanted to say thanks. I stepped into my local Sears this morning after reading your post yesterday and guess what?? They had several of the down comforters. I bought 1 king and 2 queen. They also had the microfiber plush blankets in various bed sizes. Twin/full was down to about $7.50 and King was $9.99. I also bought an adorable shower curtain for my kids bathroom for $2.50. It is clear and has goldfish in bags on it. Unbelievable buys
