Random Characters today

I went to Epcot to the World Showplace between Canada and UK and there were random characters training:
Mickey
Minnie
Donald
Goofy
Pluto
Brer Fox
Brer Bear
Stitch
Rafiki
Bolt
Wendell
Terk
Max

I think there will be Random Characters this week either at the World Showplace or American Adventure so keep your eyes open the last set is at 3pm an maybe more characters come out at 3pm than the other set.

There should be several rounds of CM training over the next several weeks. Keep in mind that not only are the character performers training, but usually so are at least some of the character attendants, and occasionally photographers as well.

There's another four (IIRC) groups of CPs still to come in, plus transfers both into and within Entertainment, so if you're in the mood for a character grab bag, hit up World Showplace in the morning or afternoons at any point in the next six weeks or so and you should get some interesting ones.

Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are almost always out, and Minnie and Pluto are there more often than not. After that it'll be a near-random assortment of between 2 and 10 additional characters. Literally, any character that a costume is available for is fair game. There are some delightfully obscure, out-of-left field characters that will only show up *at* Showplace training.

Any chance they'll still be training two weeks from now (June 9th)? That's the first day we'll be at Epcot. What times of day do they usually come out in World Showcase when they're training?

The random characters appear between Canada and the UK and between America and Italy. Between Cananda and the UK you will see a set of brown doors that will be openned and then a couple of characters will come out but most will be in the walkway behind the open doors. Between America and Italy you will see a set of green doors that will open when the characters will come out and position themselves along the walkway to the doors. You might also try the International Gateway, you never know when a character or two will pop-up there. These areas are training spots and will not be on any times guide.

Also pick up a times guide for the regularly scheduled characters in Epcot.

My bet is to go a 3pm where most characters come out than the first 2 sets (12-2)

but if you want to know the times that they come out ask the coffee shop on the right side of the big door and they will tell you if they showed up or not.

We showed up at this area around 2:30 on May 19th...we saw Mickey, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Donald, Smee, Brer Bear, and Baloo. We were able to meet all of them because the lines were so short! Highlight of our day.
