PIN ZOOM FEATURE :thumbsup2

Talk about helpful! Even if you don't trade much or can't get your hands on a paticular pin, you can still blow it up if someone is wearing it! It just needs a double click!

That's a feature now?
I like how that feature sounds! :cool1:
Once again, I'm behind on new stuff. :rotfl2:

Just a note to Ranch:

The original Disneyland park is actually called the Magic Kingdom, also. However, it is referred to as Disneyland. Why? Because before DCA and Downtown Disney opened up there, it was only Disney's Magic Kingdom, and the Disneyland Hotel - Otherwise known as the Disneyland Resort. The park is Magic Kingdom, but it is called Disneyland for that reason.

As you ride the train in Disneyland, it says ' Attention please, the Disneyland Limited is going to make a complete trip around the Magic Kingdom... ALL ABOARD!'

And I think the Monorail also does that. I'm not so sure since I haven't gone on it since they closed the Downtown Disney entrance, but I do remember it talking about a Magic Kingdom.

Just a little fact not known to the world.

"Magic Kingdom" resides in Florida. It's proper to say "New Orleans Square is at Disneyland, so it is still a part of the Disney Company." And thank you for that.
Maybe this will help to clarify it for you. When Disneyland first opened it was referrred to as Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom, Disneyland. Some people who grew up going to Disneyland (such as myself) are very familiar with it being called this. If you search for some Dland history or old postcards you'll see what I'm talking about. Maybe these two links will help, as they show of couple of old items from Disneyland.
Here and here
These are items for sale on ebay, not mine, but I'm just using them as examples. You'll have to click on the larger images to see the wording. Hope it helps. :)

Ok then, I shall comprimise, both LS and NOS can both reside in my vision of a perfect virtual world.

It's a rule. It should be followed.

It was a joke. She was saying it sarcastically. -_-

You still own in my mind milkabum :p

Wel, I didn't even know very much about WDW Magic Kingdom before VMK. When I first played VMK I was kinda like.. - Hey, the stuff here is kinda different than Disneyland Magic Kingdom. - It's like to me the whole entrance part to Pirates of the Caribbean was all wrong and I was like.. - What the.. is this all about? - And Emporium is on the wrong side of the street, and just stuff like that. And then I checked out some fan site stuff and found out that parts of VMK are like parts of different parks and the Magic Kingdom park at WDW is different than Disneyland. So I totally think that the - Magic Kingdom - part of Virtual Magic Kingdom isn't just about WDW Magic Kingdom. I learned way more about the different Disney parks because of VMK and I think other peeps have too, or they can if they check it out.

If some peeps have never been to Disneyland then I think you would really like New Orleans square. It's my favorite land in the park. I used to say to some of my friends that I wish VMK had a New Orleans square because it's the place I like to just rest and chill for a while out in front of French Market. And what's cool is that's the exact part that they made for VMK. So when I sit on the benches there in VMK it's almost just like I'm really at my favorite place in Disneyland. Except in VMK they have the Blue Bayou where the French Market restaurant is really at and VMK Club33 is where the real Blue Bayou is at, lol. But it's close enough so I won't complain. ;)

I'm starting to get kinda good at the new fireworks game but I just wish the pay for being good at it was the same as it used to be. Or at least pretty close. Now it's like about 1/2 the old pay for a really good score so that seems kinda weak. And it's pretty much not fair that the different games pay so much different. Like if you're really good at whatever game, then VMK should figure out how much time you spend and make the rewards equal for time spent playing at good player level. I'll just make a guess of how long a game takes since I only really know fireworks, but like for example.. It used to be in fireworks if you were a good player that you got 1300 credits for about 10 minutes of playing. So that's a little bit over 100 credits a minute for being good at the game. So think of a game like Jungle Cruise.. I don't remember how long it takes to go through the whole game 3 times until the end, but I did it a few times when I wanted to get on the high score list and win some Explorers tent rooms. I think it was about 10 minutes too but I never really kept track. So I scored like 50 grand or something like that and got a lame 20 credits that I would have got if I just crashed into the banks. That's what's really messed up way more than the fireworks scores. If you take any of the games in VMK and just make them pay equally for good play on the amount of minutes spent playing vs the credits rewarded then peeps could choose the game they liked best and everyone would have a fair chance to amke good credits. Like even the lame tomorrowland car driving and diving games... Almost no one really plays those for credits because the pay is SO bad. If they just made the amount credits for each trophy or pearl so that a really good player could make a equal amount per minute as any other good player playing fireworks or mansion or pirates, or Jungle Cruise then peeps would play those games instead of those being almost empty rooms like they are now.

The other thing it might help is with all the bay be and taken peeps and - poor - peeps that go around asking for free stuff. As soon as they go around and get regular credits from NPCs they pretty much have nothing to do except play taken or bay be or be annoying and figure out new ways to say bad words. If some pretty easy games that didn't take a really long time to get good at would pay good enough to make it worth their time then some of them would be more busy playing games to get credits and have less time to be annoying. But they would just need to make the chat not work during the games because then you'd have a bunch of peeps all yelling at each other that peeps stole their trophy or pearl they were trying to get. Why does pirates and the ghost game even have chat anyway?

You're wrong Stephen.

When I make threads like this, they become very touchy and often times my words upset people to where they team up in numbers and crusade their way to a closed thread.

And trust me, I recieve no favortism here, in fact, I recieved a warning yesterday.
And if you look on this thread, right after Mal posted "please do not attack" this member replied to her with:

If I were to laugh in Mal's face like that, she would surely have my head on a platter. I'm still surprised this person got away with it, or even had the audacity to even do so.

It's all quite fun really. :thumbsup2

New Orleans Square is at Disneyland, so it is still a part of the Magic Kingdom. It is the home of Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.

may be the home of hm and potc but in mk wdw its adventureland and liberty square
adventureland's my favorite...home of the pineapple dole whip!!:p

I haven't tried it yet, but this topic is tempting me to call a random Disney line, and ask, "Hiya can you connect me with HM in MK?"

I'm sure the call could not be fowarded as you need to know a sequence of numbers to tell the operator and proceed, but I'm wondering if instincts would foward the call west, or east?

My guess is probably east as MK in Florida practically has it's own zip code.

She was joking.
I think she was laughing at how Mal said do not attack.
Like rabid dogs or something. It struck me as funny also.:)

I agree on most of your reviews. Its just the New Orleans Square part I disagree with. As others have said, Disneyland is known as the Magic Kingdom. I was thinking he is so wrong, how could he say that? Well at least now you know that it is based on all magic kingdom parks. When NOS opened I wondered why they hadn't put POTC in there as well, but I guess they still need WDW as well. Now we need a Mickey's Toontown. That would be really cool. Oh yea and other parks such as DCA, MGM, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. And Ranch, I recommend you go to DLR, and I need to go to WDW.

There is nothing else written in this thread that is more true than the quote above^.

Yes, they can get quite heated with contrasting points of view.
Yes, they can get quite opinionated.

But foremost they are always entertaining!:happytv:

As a parent, I find the new pass system a waste of time. I only let my DD use the internet for 90 minutes a day. If she is doing homework, studying, or experiencing real life during the start time of an event, her chances of getting in are slim to none now. I tried the pass myself to see how it worked. I got in line 30 minutes after the start time. The line was at 615:lmao: . Two and half hours later, I was number 17 in line and was told that I could not enter the room due to the event closing. We just can't devote THAT much time to VMK in our house, so sadly the pass system has taken out much of the fun for us.:sad1:

Wow 615?! I'm speechless on that. All I can say is I wouldn't even bother. I'd rather click click click my way into about a tenth of that number.

Thank You Ash!! You rock my socks!

I did not take it as a laugh in the face Ranch and if she meant it as such then that would be wrong and very disrespectful and maybe she should explain what she meant.

thats a TRULY good point. i DESPISE people like that.

Totally!! They really get on my nerves!!

Ranch, I like to think of VMK as the great melting pot of the Disney universe, and there is room for any Disney land or park in its virtual walls.

Well written reviews, thanks for your opinions!
