ran into a little problem..need advice

Ok. so about a week ago I made ADR for CP at 8:15am and I was told that the park did not open until 9, which is why I made the ADR so early..however looking at the website, I notice that for this day (July 4) the park opens at 8 am...My thinking was to enter the park for breakfast early on the 4th so we could eat and get in the lines at rope drop...ESPECIALLY since it will more than likely be a MADHOUSE on July 4...

Does anyone know if they have ADRs for earlier than 8 at CP or is that the earliest they take them? And should I keep the reservation (I do not have a dining plan, this was going to be out of pocket) or should I skip out and be at rope drop and get in the lines for the rides?

I wouldn't miss RD on the 4th of July if I was going to MK, so I wouldn't schedule a breakfast that morning.

I do not know if they would take earlier reservations on that day or not - maybe you could check the dining website and see if anything is available earlier.

I agree. I'd try for an early lunch. We really like lunch at CP. We just grab a pastry the night before & eat it in our room for early rope drop & schedule lunch at CP right at noon.

Haha! Thanks yall! I think I will cancel the reservations and try for a lunch or maybe try for breakfast on another day, I cant find ANY lunch at all for the 4th..i mean it is two days away LOL! But o well! I just needed some advice..if it happens it happens..if it doesnt..theres always next time right? Thank you all for your help!!

Honestly, if you don't get another ressie for that day and end up eating CS you may still be better off. I love CP but I would also have cancelled if I were in your situation. Also, the suggestion to grab a pastry the night before to use for breakfast is a good one. I would actually take then with to eat while waiting outside MK. You will need to be there really early for RD that day.
