Ramones song help

Can anyone help me with choosing a good song by the Ramones for an audition? This is for my 16 year old daughter. The song can be by them or someone very similar for the audition. Thanks!

"I Want To Be Sedated" is probably the best known Ramones song, followed by "Rock N Roll high School".

Personally I find a lot of Green Day to be a very polished version of the Ramones.

those are just a few good ones.

And Green Day aren't even in the same league as The Ramones!!!
But if you need similar, there is them(but only off their first two albums), Screeching Weasel, old old old Blink 182, the Riverdales,.....a few others.

I personally like Blietzkreig Bop as one of my favorite Ramones songs.

I also don't compare Green Day to Ramones.

How about the Clash? or Sex Pistols? (Anarchy in the UK is a great song I still crank up on my Ipod) I personally like the Dead Milkmen also. (they have a very funny song about a cool Camaro, and another favorite one of my is Punk Rock Girl)

PiL is very similiar to Sex Pistols.
I also liked the Dead Kennedys and the Buzzcocks (not sure if the filter will catch that)

Thanks everyone for all of your great ideas. In this audition she has to sing a song by the Ramones, or one very similar, in addition to doing cheerleading and gymnastics (yes i know it sounds strange!) When she goes to auditions they tell you not to do songs from the show, but in this case they said it would be ok to do something by the Ramones. She probably shouldn't do their most famous song, because everyone else there might be doing it, but you still want a song that most people recognize.Thanks again!

What's up with the Ramones comeback among young girls? Funny cause this is the second time I've heard about them in 12 hours. Last evening I had a discussion with a 6th grade girl about them because she was wearing a t-shirt.

I loved them 20 years ago...aaaahhh... first really cool boyfriend, cruisin music...I love comebacks!

How about "Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett? Has a definite "punk"/"Ramones" sound, but is the right pitch for a female voice, and she could really ahve fun with it.
