any recommendations for a bite to eat and a few pints in the area , as we are staying here the night before our flight to Orlando

I usaully stay at the Hilton at the South terminal but we always eat at FRANKIES AND BENNIES is in the south terminal they are a lot around in this chain, and its easy to get to my the inter-terminal shuttle, or airport bus from hotel, even if they charge its worth it.

Hi there,

The hotel isn't really near anything else. Well, not that we could see within walking distance, anyway. We didn't have a car so we were a bit linited when it came to exploring!

It is a nice hotel and there is a restaurant and the bar did food as well. It was usual hotel prices (not cheap, but not extortionate).

For more choice you may want to eat at Gatwick before you travel to the hotel I seem to remember the taxi fare being about £8 (last August)
