I literally just checked out this morning from an overnight stay. Free parking was nice. The room was basic but fine. There was a microwave and a mini-fridge. The A/C is a wall unit (not central) and therefore I had to have it on the highest (loudest) setting to keep the room cool, but I was dead tired from being in the parks last night after fireworks so I fell asleep no problem

The bathroom was clean. There was some paint chipping on the door and small stains on the carpeting in the room, but stuff like that doesn't bother me when I'm not paying for a high-quality place. When I book a hotel like this, it is for location (which is great, by the way). When I go to Hawaii or Vegas, I book nicer places, but when I'm hardly going to be in the room, I don't mind small things like that. It was certainly not seedy or a dump by any means.
The free breakfast was VERY basic, but a nice option since I didn't want to waste time sitting down and eating a full breakfast. They had a toaster with white and wheat toast, three basic cereal choices, pastries, oranges and apples, and coffee and juices. I just had some toast and an apple and it was enough to last me until my early lunch at 11.
No complaints. The pool looked fine but we didn't use it (that's where they serve the breakfast). If you get a good rate and know it's not a five-star hotel, I say go for it. My rate was $109, $127 after taxes for a 2 queen room. I liked that parking was free and the rate was the lowest compared to the other six or seven comparable hotels in that row (Tropicana, Camelot, Best Western Park Place, Park Vue, etc.) for the date I needed.
