Ralph and Vanellope location and wait times at Epcot?

Is Ralph and Vanellope's meet now over by Journey with Figment? I have been checking the MDE app and it seems like they meet most of the day 9-7, how are the wait times in the afternoon? We had an evening planned at Epcot to watch Illuminations but my DD will be Disney bounding as Vanellope and meeting her is a must..lol

I also read that more characters may be added in the future. Has Disney released any sort of time line or characters yet? We will be visiting early May. Thanks!
