Raleigh Meeting a Success!

Hi guys,
Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed meeting everybody yesterday! I'm only sorry I didn't get a chance to chat with everyone! And the food was great....even without the carbs!
A big THANK-YOU to Heather for organizing the event and to Audrey for her help with the menu! Hope to see everyone again.
I'll be at WDW (Port Orleans) Oct18-20 and then at OKW for Thanksgiving (11/27-12/1)

I agree with Jeanne. I was sorry we had to leave in order for my son to get to work in time. I didn't get to talk to everyone I wanted to, guess I was too busy eating. First time at Maggiano's for me, and I thought the food was fabulous. Those had to be the biggest meatballs I have ever seen in my life. Had to come home and take a nap after all I had to eat.

I echo thanks to HeatherPage and DVCajun for putting this together.

We will be at the BCV Sep 19-23. HeatherPage, hope we see you while we are there.

The new mall is opening in August. Maybe there will be somewhere there that might be a good spot for the next meet. It sure is nice to get together with folks that don't look at you strangely when you say you are going to WDW again.

We enjoyed meeting everyone, too! We were so busy talking we hardly had a chance to eat. Dittos on the set-up and menu.

Glad I finally made it there also I hope no one worried too much. I told Jeanne earlier that when I made the reservations for up in that area that the manager told me we'd be the only group up there - guess he kind of stretched the truth a little bit. Oh well next time we'll have to find a place that has a separate room for us to run wild in! I hope to actually get to talk to more people next time than just the couple of hello's I was able to get in between coming, eating and leaving. Well now we know we have a good number of DVC'rs in our area so we should make sure and do this more often!

Thanks again Heather for doing such a great job. We really enjoyed meeting other DVC members and listening to all of their experiences. We would love to do it again sometime. Our friends were really glad that we invited them and they're now going to checkout the boards. Looking forward to future meets.
