Just went to buy a Target gift card on raise and only a 1% discount??? I've seen them much higher right or I am imagining somthing?

They change the amount constantly. I'd check back periodically. Oh and you can sort by percentage. Make sure you sorting high percentage off to low. Also cardpool has them at 7%.

I noticed the 1% today, I think they were 6.1% yesterday. One really has to learn patience in trying to save money using the gift card method. Time is our friend; if you are in a hurry you might not save as much as waiting it out.

I'm pretty sure it's because of the additional target discount that I think ends today. I bought some at 3% last night so I didn't miss out on the deal. Saved 18% so not too bad.

I'm interested to know if you used a Gift card from Raise or some other Discount GC company? Would you save on the GC, get the 5 dollars off with the code AND 5% off with the Red Card? I saw that coupon yesterday. I just was going to wait a couple of weeks before doing anything with it.

Yes, you can use a target gift card purchased from a place like Raise. You just have to first set your red card on your target online account as the default payment so that you can get the 5%, add the promo code for the $5 off $50 and when you are ready to pay, add the target gift card. It will subtract the balance from the gift card first then if any amount is remaining it will charge your red card. Remember also that you can add more than 1 target gc, not sure what the maximum is, I have used 4 and had no problems.

Fyi, Target is currently out of stock on the $50 Disney Gift Cards.

I usually buy my gcs through raise but the target gift card i used was purchased at staples.com through discover deals portal because i've been experimenting with their cashback deals. Didn't get any cash back. But a few months ago, I bought a Petsmart gift card at Petsmart.com through Discover Deals portal and got 15% cash back. Macys gc didn't work.
