We're trying Disneyland for the 1st time, June 2nd-6th.

We're WDW veterans, so I'm excited and apprehensive at the same time over the prospect of trying the more "compact" theme park experience.

Hi all, my trip starts from May 29th and goes through June 3rd so I thought I'd pop over to this thread too and say hi. We're going to be at the Fairfield Inn. This is my first trip in over 20 years(first in about 25 for my hubby!) and we are taking our two boys(ages 2 and 6) for their first trip. I'm so excited I feel like I'm going to burst!

Part of me hopes CarsLand will be open early enough to see but at the same time, I'm not sure I'm ready for an enormous crowd. We have so many things we want to see & do and just not as many days as I wish we could spend

DS8, DD4 and me are flying to Phoenix to see my mom...and we're driving to California for 3 days at DL/CA! We'll be there June 23-26. I can't WAIT

We'll be there in both June and July with a trip to Aulani sandwiched in between .

Staying at VGC June 23-26 before heading to Aulani June 26-July 3, then back to VCG July 3-6. Using DL as a (hopefully) great way to deal with the major time change between PA and HI and not spend an entire day flying.

I'm still working out the plans. Nothing yet booked but I plan on being there May 31-June 5 possibly PPH.
May 29-31 would be USH, Hilton. With 1 day at USH (May 30th) and the 31st going to Hollywood Blvd.
I'm totally clueless since I haven't been in 5 years I feel so overwhelmed!

I booked! I'm in for June! May 30 - June 6! Disneyland Hotel for the 1st time! Taking DD18 and her friend who has never been to CA!
We'll be staying at DLH, renting a car just to drive to Universal on the 31st and Medieval Times on June 1st since that night is Grad night.

Also, for the Diser asking about hotels on Harbor. I highly suggest using the name your own price on priceline. You don't get to pick your hotel, but I've never been disapointed. However, I haven't stayed within walking distance when I use Priceline, I've had to use a hotel shuttle every time. I've stayed at the Sheriton Garden Grove for $75/night, Ayers on Chapman for $69/night and Merriot (near Sheriton) for $79/night. So far I liked them all better than the hotels withing walking distance to the entrance that I've stayed at. (Carousel, Park Place Inn, Camelot, and Fairfield). The price line hotels have all had interrior corridors and room service. I also learned about other places to eat off property. (Joe's Crab Shack, Dave and Busters, and Panera).

I will also be down there this summer but I have not put my schedule dates up yet until we find out when Cars Land will do an AP Sneak Peek. But for my dates if the Sneak Peek doesn't happens will be on June 14 - 17 at BWAI. I can't wait when CL and BVS opens this summer.

We'll be there June 2nd--9th. Staying at The Anabella Hotel. This is our 2nd trip to DL, our 1st was in 2002 and alot has changed. Excited and Scared at the same time. I remember how crowed DL felt compared to WDW, the streets in Magic Kingdom were made for 1950s crowds. It will be me, my DH and DS (16) who has always loved Disney (so glad he hasn't grown out of his love).
