Meeeeeeeeee!! I was excited back in Spetember when dh and I decided to go ahead and plan for the first week of March, only to come on DIS boards and find out I couldn't make any ADR's

So, the day will finally be here to call in!! Who else is going to be up with me at 7am Sunday??

I will be trying to book

Feb 28, Crystal Palace breakfast
March 1, Rainforest Cafe AK lunch
March 2, Chefs de France lunch
March 3, Sci-Fi lunch
March 4, Liberty Tree Tavern lunch
March 5, Le Cellier lunch
March 6, Yak & Yeti lunch

We are trying to go to all new places to eat except for the RFC, we have to go there every time, per dh's one and only request for ADR's.

Just so you know, I think Liberty Tree is stopping there Character meals, someone correct me if I am wrong, not that would change your ADR

Yes, we knew that. Though I don't think lunch was a character meal before anyway? Just dinner was I think,I may be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time!

Me too, I'll be calling bright and early on Sunday. We are going 2/21-2/27, so I've had an ADR for Boma on 2/22 for a while now, but I'm so excited to make the rest of them. We are hoping for (all dinners):
2/23 Teppan Edo
2/24 Ohana
2/25 Kona
2/26 Still can't decide between Chefs de France, Tutto Italia and Coral Reef

Me too. We have Chef Mickeys dinner already but need the rest. CP is top of the list. That is my favorite.

I will be calling bright and early on Sunday too. We are going from February 21 to February 27 so I was able to make ADR's for the 21st, 22nd and our breakfast at Chef Mickey's on the 27th already but have been waiting to finish the days in between. Here is what we are hoping to book:

2/23 - dinner at Spoodles
2/24 - dinner at O'hana
2/25 - lunch at Sci-Fi
2/26 - dinner at either Le Cellier or Tutto Italia

We have a Disney Dining CM (DisneyDine) who always keeps us posted. As of right now, the CM's only know "late December" You may want to keep an eye on this thread. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1977770

It's where we're keeping the watch for the ADR system - and will definitely be updated as soon as we hear word of dates for anything past March 22

You may have to wait a little bit longer than that. DisneyDine posted in the ADR watch thread (link in above post) that the system won't be ready until late December.

The CM I talked to the other day said that the tentative date in December is 12/21. We all know that could be completely incorrect, but at least it is something to go with at the moment.

It's fully explained in the first post of the thread that I posted above, but it's because CRT, CM, and Victoria and Albert's are not affected by this ADR change. There is speculation that it's because their such popular locations, but nobody knows for sure why they aren't affected by the upgrade.

All other locations are affected by the upgrade, so thus the difference. 180 Days for CRT, Chef Mickey's and Victoria & Albert's throughout the process - and the others are on the crazy schedule.

You can make CRT and Chef Mickey's today. Those aren't affected by the system upgrade.

I thought I knew what I was doing until I read this thread and then called Disney Dining...So am I understanding the following correctly?

Our vacation is March 21-28.

I have Chef Mickey's booked for March 21st.

I can get up at the crack of dawn Sunday to make 1 days (March 22) reservations.

I have to wait until (according to WDW Dining) December to make the remainder (March 23rd-28th) of the reservations.

Is this right?

I'm so confused and it wouldn't matter so much but I'm trying to plan a special trip for a 9 year old. I'm sure we all share the same frustrations.

This is why I love disboards. I never would have known that they moved the date to 3/22!!!

We are going 3/21-3/28. I already have CRT and CM booked. I can at least book for the 3/22.

My plan for 3/22 is Tusker House BF and either Ohana or 1900 PF for dinner.
