just was about to buy some Target gift cards on Raise.....only egift cards are available (well, as of right now, at least)...tried search for physical cards and target was not there...

anyhow, it clearly states that you cannot use egift cards to buy another gift card....

sooooo, unless either they or I am mistaken, that removes Raise gift cards from the bargain of the day club, no?

I just purchased a couple yesterday. I purchased both a Disney card online at target and purchased one in store with the remaining funds. The worked for me!

you got a physical card? Will check again now....nope....just egifts.
or r u saying that u used the target egaift card and purchased disney gift cards online with it? did u get redcard discount as well????

many thanx!

I've used e gift cards countless times over this past year. Just ordered $400 a couple of weeks ago and my Disney cards came in yesterday. Target considers Disney cards entertainment cards and not gift cards.

I've also purchased e-cards on Raise and used them on Target.com to buy Disney gift cards.

I've used Disney gift cards purchased at Target to pay for vacation. Easier when I found I could order online and have them shipped instead of driving half hour to Target store.

Raise is new for me and I like it! I've done it three times this weekend, testing it out. Here's my experience.

On Raise, I've seen the discount change from 6.6% - 6.8% - 5.5%, so watch and buy when discount is higher.

When ordering online, log into your account and it will think you are paying with Target Red Card and the gift card will show at 5% discount. I ended up paying a small amount with Red Card and most with the Target e-gift card from Raise. One time the shopping cart showed sales tax. I emptied the cart and filled it again and then there was no tax.

Want a bigger savings on your Disney vacation? Log into the Target website through ebates. I only remembered to do this once, from now in I'll do it every time. I wasn't sure it would work, because ebates says you won't get anything for buying gift cards, but it must mean store gift card. I received $3.80 (2%) in cash back for the purchase of $200 of Disney gift cards.

So depending on your Raise discount, around 13% savings!

Bonus, I get 1% cash back bonus on all purchases made with my Discover card. Do you have something similar with your credit card?

THOSE are great ideas....especially for those who post looking for DCL discounted cruises or cheapest cruises. THOSE are the only guaranteed ways to save some $$$$!1 Well done.

btw, I got my cards but they wanted to charge me tax at target....did an (endless) online chat to fix the problem. Hope they clear this up soon..................
