Rainy Day

We are busy planning our tirp to Orlando and WDW. If there is a day when it looks like it is going to rain most of the day. Is there one park that is better to do on a rainy day. Thanks

I would say any park but AK-it is probably the least rain-friendly park. There are not a lot of places to hide from the rain and when we were there it seemed to have some drainage issues in areas All the other parks have lots of indoor rides and shows.

I would think EPCOT would be best - lots of places to just hang out indoors. I agree with staying away from AK in the rain - did it last year and I think I'm still wet.

MK is the best rain park. Remember that it hardly rains the whole day in Orlando. If you have a park hopper it really does not matter.

I agree that only AK will be difficult in the rain, but we choose Epcot when it rains. There are more indoor dark attractions that can hold a lot of people and take a long time, such as Universe of Energy, The American Adventure, and all the movies (O' Canada, Impressions of France, et al). Spaceship Earth is a longer ride, and there's so much indoor country exploring. So for us it's the park with the most out of the rain options, and the most capacity to keep the indoor areas from becoming a zoo on days when it rains all day, rather than a shower here or there.

Another vote for Epcot or Downtown Disney.

If it is a really rainy day then Epcot is the best. Remember though that rain in central Florida ususally comes in spells. MGM is also not too bad in the rain as most attractions are indoors. Fantasyland and Tomorrowland arethe best MK lands to do in the rain.

I agree, EPCOT, particularly World Showcase, is a good option. And refeshments are readily available there too.
