Rainy day at port

Verandah Man, thanks so much for the pic of the Magic. DS 6 had a crisis at the time it was to sail by. I had to run outside and never got back until this evening.

We are enjoying an unusally nice weekend for Minnesota. Sorry to hear about the drenching rain everyone is getting. Hopefully Sunday will be better and you can salvage some of your weekend. Believe me. . . .I know what that feels like!

Oh good - more rain today (she said very sarcastically). At least tomorrow is supposed to be nice. DS has a party at school up at the pool.

We are in such a severe 6 year drought that we would LOVE to have some of your rain! We have been unseasonably HOTTER than normal this year and add that to not much water and you have a very bad situation! We havent had rain since the first of MAY! Please send some to Utah...our fire restrictions for wildfires are off the charts and the water restrictions for the consumer are getting worse every day!

Hope you get some sun and we get your rain! My lawn is dead!

I would like nothing better than to send some of our rain your way. We've had over 8" of rain in June, double what we normally receive. Last year we couldn't buy a drop of rain, this year we can't get the rain to stop.

As of yesterday we have had over 10" of rain for June to break the record for the rainiest June ever. And we still have a week to go with more storms predicted this week. 9 more days until Disneyland - they say it NEVER rains in Southern California.

WOW Verandah Man you are amazing..it worked! LOL It is pouring rain here and has been all night long! THANKS! LOL IT is also very COOL here which is a really nice switch from the heat in the last few weeks!!! I sent the heat and sun along so hopefully you get it soon as well!

Well, it worked on this side of the country as well. It is SUNNY today and going in the upper 80's, will be HOT, SUNNY, and HUMID the rest of the week, with temps in the low to mid 90's, what a change from the past few weeks. Just got home for lunch and turned the central air on!!!
