RainForest still taking ADR's?

I know RFC is not on the dining plan anymore, but we just have to eat there.
Back in 2004 Disney Dining couldn't make a ADR for us, but we were able to get one by calling the restaurant directly.
Has anyone been recently that can tell me what their current policy is?

You can get ADR's for Rainforest Cafe, at least at the Animal Kingdom location. My TA made ours last week.

I just checked the WDW website and it is not listed as a Dining Plan restaurant.Where did yousee this info?

Okay well I made an ADR at the RFC at AK...but I was told that it's not on the dining plan....??

The RFC at AK is now on the dining plan.

I just made our ADR for this spot this morning and was told it wasn't on the plan. It also doesn't open till 8:30 am... which kind of blows a hole in EMH's for the morning, unless you schedule your breakfast for later that morning... If you go on a morning without EMH's, or you're having a meal other than breakfast, then that little tid-bit doesn't help you much...

Neither RFC is on the dining plan, as far as I've read. My guess would be that the two new Landry restaurants at WDW (opening in 2007 and 2008) won't be either.

I questioned the cast member twice about it and told her of my surprise. She assured me, BUT we all know that they give out a lot of wrong answers. Guess what - I am going with the disboard answer!!!!
