Rainforest question, spam question

i got day passes for myself and family members for the spa on the fantasy. How do we know the heated beds will be available considering how many people are on the ship. Do you call ahead to see if it is a busy time? An unrelated question, is there spam available at cabanas or main dining rooms? My brother in law loves it and I saw something about it in an old post, not sure where they got it though.

On the Dream, it was first come, first serve for the heated loungers. I did not experience any problems with going there and not finding one open, but I knew it was a possibility. You could always use one of the other amenities there until one became open.

They are first-come, first-served. And there is not a time limit on them. I did appreciate that on Holland America they kindly suggest that if people are waiting you limit the use to 30 minutes. I spent three or so hours in the Rainforest Room on the Fantasy in February and did manage to get one - which I self-limited my use to 30 minutes. But there were several who were on them from the time I got in (and were clearly settled) and were showing no signs of moving when I was leaving. I just think even without a gentle suggestion it's only polite if you know it's crowded and busy to self-monitor so everyone has a chance.

As for spam... I have no clue. Sorry.

Thank you. That's a good idea!

On my previous Fantasy cruises I haven't had an issue getting the hot stone beds and they weren't all occupied when I went either. However, I tend to go visit in the mornings or mid afternoon on sea days so maybe other times are busier. I believe there are 8 or 10 beds???

We've never had an issue DW & I on either the Dream or the Fantasy. We usually would go in the morning or late afternoon/early evening.

Thanks. You're right, a little consideration goes a long way!

Thank you.
