Rainforest Pass

I've never done any of the spa treatments due to budget constraints but I am considering a 1 day pass on our next cruise. We are sailing on the Wonder. Everyone raves about the newer ships. What is it like on the Wonder? Would I be able to bring a magazine or book and just lounge or is that strange? Are you provided robes? If you buy a 1 day pass are you able to come/go all day or it is just one entrance? Any other insight/recommendations is appreciated.

Sorry, forgot to address your other questions, I don't think it would be strange to bring a book, but perhaps the lights are too dim to read by. I can't recall about robes since I'm not a big robe wearer, but I don't think they were provided - not sure. You can com and go all day with the pass if i recall correctly.

You are given a robe when you check it. On the Dream and I assume the Fantasy you are given a bracket that let's you into the rainforest room and you turn it in at checkout. On the Magic the door is not locked.

When I went to the RR on the Fantasy, there were about a dozen people in there every time I went. Usually most of the people are lying on those heated stone loungers! There was never more than 1 or 2 people using the aromatherapy showers. (I mean total using all 4 showers... I've never seen 2 people in the same shower at the same time! I imagine if that ever happens, it's a couple!) And there were usually 1-2 people in the saunas.

When I went to the RR on the Dream, I had the whole RR to myself most of the times I went! A couple times there were 1 or 2 other people in there with me.

Here's some pictures I took on the Dream (it's the same on the Fantasy):

If I buy the one day pass do I have to elect which day I will be using it? Also, if I buy the one day and we love it can I upgrade to a longer pass?

I've read enough! :) Now it's not only countdown to sail away day but for Rainforest Room me time!

You can pick what day you want to use your pass
Not sure about upgrade to longer pass. I do know when we went on the Fantasy in Nov. I could have bought 1 day pass for 16$ if I did it online in advance thru my reservations page on DCL. When we went to spa desk to ask on embarkation day we were told 27$/day plus auto gratuity and no guarantee day passes would be available every day. I should have bought the day passes in advance online! We up just getting length of cruise couples pass and I'm glad we did but with gratuity it was over 200$

I loved the Rainforest room on the Dream. My next cruise will be on the Wonder (probably). Tell me the differences please.

Hi, if we pre-purchase some 1 day passes for our upcoming cruise, could we be turned away when we show up to the rainforest?

The rainforest room is my favourite place on the ship. Up until last week we had only been in the magic and love it. We tend to go at early dinner time and it is usually just a few people there.

Last week we went on the fantasy. I had read up about the RR and was keen to do the week long pass but my husband thought we would have too much else to do on the ship and so I pre-purchased 2 day passes each.

On the first day we did the spa tour And husband took one look at the RR and said we HAD to upgrade! It was $227 inc gratuity and all tips for the couples pass.

The spa said they would credit us for the day passes and I didn't think much more about it. It was only mid week when I realised we hadn't been credited $75 we had already paid. After a couple of confused conversations we were told that shoreside where we had booked needed to do the credit. Hopefully we will get this back soon (the voucher and email did say non-refundable).

It works out about $2.50 a day cheaper to get the week pass over the day pass but apparently they can ration the tickets they sell on board and only sell 40 couples passes.

Having now been on both the fantasy and the magic the RR is the one area that would make me want to go back. It is a shame they couldn't do something to add hot tubs in the refurb.
