Has anyone just been to rainforest cafe? Which one is the best Animal Kingdom or Downtown Disney? I have promised my son as we didn't go last time and we are going to CRT for breakfast for my DD I would take him to the Rainforest cafe, but which one is the best? I have read varying reports about the food, but it will be a one off so hope the food is ok.

We have always liked the one at DTD, probably because there are things to do/see before or after and somehow it seemed to have more atmosphere - but I think it is a personal thing cause I am sure others prefer the one at AK.

I do think that the food/service has gone slightly downhill over the years but as a one-off its ok.

Food OK, service terrible, prices worse, theming fantastic.

We went to the one at DTD. Also went to the one in the Trafford Centre when it was still there. Much the same experience!

Went to the one at Animal kingdom in August for lunch. DH ( yes DH ) was desparate to go as we'd missed it on our last visit.

Our 4 kids (well 3 ours & 1 borrowed) youngest 10 ignored the theming.

Meal OK no complaints but I thought it was expensive,$140 for pizza & burgers though DH Did have ribs which he said was nice.

DON'T DO IT !!!

Service dire
Food average
Theming average
Temperature too cold
Cost HOW MUCH !

Try the 50's Prime Time Cafe at MGM. Your kids will love watching the adults being humiliated (I had to wear a bib).

Both the last 2 visits we had first serving breakfast at AK. Both occassions the service was excellent & the food plentiful & tasteful. Yes, it is slightly more than you would usually pay for breakfast, however it set us up for the day, so we didn't need to eat again until the evening. DD was OK the first time, however the second time we went she decided she was scared of the storm & actually his under the table! So, that is a slight health warning. Have not been for anything other than b/fast & have not been to the DTD location so can't comment on that either.

We ate lunch at the AK one in November. We were seated quickly (without a ressie), service was good, food was hot and also very good, portions were huge, prices were on a par with all the other theme park eateries. We would recommend it.
